Getaway from it all in our private cabin tucked away in the Algonquin Highlands/Lake of Bays area. You’ll have the whole 2 acres to yourself! A short drive to the Lake of Bays public beach and boat launch, Oxtongue Lake and Ragged Falls. Nearby restaurants and bakeries can provide for all your needs during your stay.
The bunkie itself does not have electricity or running water and is a 10x10 single room with a futon sofa for sleeping. We provide batteries to charge usb devices as well as utensils/cutlery for dining and handwashing/dish water. The nearby bathroom features a composting toilet. Drinking water is not provided. Breakfast is not included. BYOPropane for the small grill.

Summary: Ollie was a great host. He was so helpful and nice. The bunkie was adorable and excellent. The futon bed was surprisingly comfortable--we slept really well on it. The composting toilet in the very clean outhouse was perfect and did not smell at all. The camping shower worked great for us. The only thing I would do if I owned the property would be to tidy up a bit. There were some bottles and canisters and stuff lying about in the woods and some ancient equipment that I would haul away. All in all, though, our stay was pretty perfect. Thanks!

Summary: Ollie was super friendly. Property was secluded and quiet which was nice as a pose to a busy campground. Everything was clean inside and out. This was our dogs first camping trip and he had a blast.

Summary: The place was great, Ollie was awesome, overall a very good experience! From the mosquitoes to the outhouse bathroom, this was as close to as camping as one could get, while coming back to a cozy little shed, that was more than spacious enough for 2 people. The drive to the beach is short, and the park (with hiking trails, waterfalls, etc.) is also no more than a 20 minute drive. The delivery of breakfast by Ollie made the experience far better, with a personal touch. The muffins were always spectacular! The property was nice and isolated, making it feel like our own small spot in the forest. There’s an amazing spot in town, named “Erika’s” with homemade food, that I would also recommend to a future camper. Overall, a great experience!

Summary: This property is absolutely gorgeous! Perfect for if you want to escape, & relax in nature. Ollie was super nice, & accommodating. He showed us how everything worked, and recommended an outing nearby that was wonderful. I can’t speak highly enough about him & his property, and will most definitely be returning!
