Near Blackwater Falls, Canaan Valley State Park, Dolly Sods, Seneca Rocks, and Spruce Knob for outdoor recreation in all seasons. Enjoy skiing, snow tubing,hiking, biking, fishing, birding, kayaking, whitewater rafting, climbing, caving, and more! Visit Davis or Thomas for good eats, small-town charm, local brews (coffee and beer!), art and live music.

Summary: We came to check out the Timberline and Canaan Valley ski resorts. Our cabin was a short drive to both and offered a quiet, private place to stay. The cabin had everything we needed to cook and the fireplace was very appreciated after a day on the slopes. We had one small issue with a broken shower curtain rod. The owner was very responsive and had it fixed the next day while we were out. I highly recommend this cabin.

Summary: First time solo travel and I couldn’t have picked a better spot. Complex was clean and maintained. Easy self checkin and good communication with, updates from, property management. Cabins spaced out nicely, afforded privacy and quiet; and was cozy with all the essentials needed for my solitude stay. No issues with internet/tv inside of cabin. A short drive to town and grocery, with nearby beautiful places to visit and things to do. Would definitely stay here again.

Summary: Beautiful cabin nestled in the trees. Perfect place for visiting Blackwater Falls Park. The cabin was the perfect size and offered all of the amenities needed. We have our dog who always travels with us and this place was perfect for her too. The bed was very comfortable. I especially enjoyed the morning sunrise from the deck!

Summary: We love the place so much that we are planning to stay again at the same resort. We had a little minor set back with our vechicle so we stayed at the resort most of the time. We were able to cook at the cabin with all the utensils that we needed plus a grill. There are two ponds that we took our kids to go fishing and they loved that! Plus the mini golfing was a plus for them. We want to come when the pool is open so they can go swimming.
