Summary: The Cypress Woods Cabin outdoes its photos! Having a young family, we had simply been looking for somewhere to have a quiet "unplugged" getaway, and we couldn't have been more thrilled with Jenn's hospitality (coffee was included, y'all!). The cabin was clean, beautiful and very modern, with homey Magnolia décor and touches at every turn. As a side note to other "clean freaks", the Cypress Woods cabin was very well-caulked! Texans, read "no bugs!" Jenn was very quick to respond, and even addressed an issue before I could contact her about it. Our kids enjoyed every board game and spent hours around the backyard firepit and bug-hunting. The kitchen was very well-equipped, and we had everything we needed, including dishwasher tablets. The beds were comfortable, and had plenty of blankets and plush bedding. The bathroom was luxe, and even shampoo/conditioner/wash were included. I don't have complaints, though I do feel other renters may want to note that there's no bathtub (not a necessity, but nice with young children), nothing in the fridge (eg no ketchup or other condiments left by previous guests-don't forget to bring with your groceries!), and the back yard does back up to a road (not much traffic, and there is a fence for safety, but just note that you may see a truck or two while you're sitting my the campfire).

Summary: Absolutely wonderful! One of the nicest places we have stayed. Very well appointed with every detail carefully thought out. Immaculately clean! Hosts very pleasant and easy to work with. We were visiting our son, who lives in the area, and we hope to stay here again the next time we return.

Summary: I’ve stayed at many VRBO properties in this price range, but none hold a candle to this beautiful, well appointed cabin. From the linens to the comfortable beds (even the trundle bed!) to the cozy fireplace, and outside screen porch, it was a hidden jewel to me. Each year we do a girls weekend with mothers and daughters in my family. This was a perfect spot for playing cards and dominoes, watching movies and enjoying the swing on the front porch. Cannot recommend this property enough for your next getaway!
