Welcome to our Cozy Cabin on Lake Sylvia. We hope you will enjoy our piece of paradise! Enjoy breathtaking views from our upper level deck and lower patio. Both areas have ceiling fans for your comfort. The upper deck boasts a large wrap around sofa and chair to lounge on. The lower patio has an outdoor dining set, lounge area and grill. There is a fire pit for sharing fish stories and making smores.
Bedroom # 1 has a queen Tempurpedic mattress. Bedroom # 2 has a queen Novaform mattress and the living room has a sleeper sofa with a premium queen mattress.
The kitchen comes equipped with a Keurig and all the basics you might expect (please ask if you are looking for something specific) and you are welcome to use the grill on the patio.
Other things to note:
There is parking for 4 vehicles.
Towels and linens are included.
Free WIFI.
Bedrooms are upstairs and we have a spiral staircase. If you have mobility challenges, our cabin is not a good fit.
We have a pontoon available to rent for an additional cost.

Summary: Lovely, well laid out just like the picture and exactly what we wanted. Squeaky clean, well-stocked with cookware and dishes, towels and linens, toys, lifejackets, coffee, shower products, bug spray and sunscreen - nice stuff and impressively thoughtful. Felt like staying at a good friend's home. Had a blast on the paddleboat and making smores by firepit. Good times!!

Summary: The owners add great touches to make your experience extra special; chocolates & marshmallows for roasting s’mores, coffee bar with a variety of coffee, they have a paddle boat and two kayaks to use for fun on the lake! You can rent the owners pontoon boat and your kids will have a blast in the Lilly pad. Hours of fun! We always enjoy our stay at the Cozy Cabin!

Summary: Our family had a great time at the cozy cabin. My six year old loved the bay and all the fish he caught and fed. The kayaks and paddle boat were a plus for the family. The bay is protected and full of fish. Neighbors were all nice and the cabin was clean and comfortable. We enjoyed all the sitting areas, fire pit, deck. We had a baby with so it's good to move around. We were able to fit a pack and play in one of the bedrooms. We rented the pontoon for a day, don made that an easy process and I would recommend it if you don't have a boat. Overall 5 stars we would stay again I wouldn't hesitate to book.

Summary: This is our 3rd year staying here and we will be back next year too. This is a clean and modern property. The nice gas grill makes dinner a breeze. We have two boys under 7. We enjoyed swimming, using the lily pad, kayaking, paddle boat, having fires and sitting on the upper deck. The kitchen has everything you need including a coffee station and the s’more supplies. The owners have thought of everything. The beds are super comfy. There are lots of cool nearby parks and trails. We went downtown for ice cream. The grocery store is just a quick drive. This property is top notch!

Summary: Our family enjoyed a wonderful week at the cabin, it was the perfect summertime rental for us and our young children (ages 4, 5, and 8 months)! We spent our time swimming, playing on the beach, fishing, boating, grilling, and sitting by the campfire. Does it get much better than that? Somehow it did because Tami and Don's cabin has all the amenities you would need and then some! Really a top notch house that has been recently remodeled in a peaceful, beautiful, and tranquil location. Geese in the morning, Loons in the evening and plenty of fish to catch in between! Do yourself a favor and bring your boat or rent the pontoon while visiting, we really enjoyed exploring Lake Sylvia and would love to stay at this property again in the future.

Summary: All the previous reviews hit the nail on the head. This rental owner has thought of everything. I've never seen as many extra towels as this one provided (even though we didn't need them this trip). Everything is up to date and new and clean. Added perks like the coffee station, kayaks, paddle boat, Lilly pad, ample seating, high quality gas grill and high quality dock (with built in bumpers for boats) make this rental stand out even more. Plus, the fishing was great between the kids catching unlimited sunfish at the dock to catching my personal best walleye in Lake Sylvia. The only down side I can find is the loud spiral staircase that take little feet a while to get used to walking quietly on. Thanks for making our long weekend cozy!
