Summary: My friend and I came up to do some biking on the C&O and western Maryland rail trail, and to also do some hiking! Weather was perfect and the cozy cabin fit all our needs perfectly!. Very cutely decorated…Clean…Beautiful views. The host even invited us for dinner one night if we wanted to join them! Check in was easy and there was even a few snacks and waters provided. All very thoughtful gestures. We were warned that there was a two mile stretch of rougher road leading up to the cabin but had no issues driving my Toyota highlander up the mountain. We had a great time and hope to be back! It was a great weekend getaway!

Summary: I came up for a relaxing weekend stay after my midterms and it was wonderful. The host, Deborah, met me on arrival and gave a quick little five minute tour of the place. Everything is exactly as advertised, and, if not for the trees, the view would be incredible as well. Luckily, there was a night where renters in the above Hawks Nest weren’t there and Deborah allowed me to walk up and enjoy the sunset view from their deck which made my night. My one nitpick (and it’s definitely a nitpick, not a complaint) is that the hot water didn’t seem to last very long at all. It is a 6 gallon tank, so I knew showers had to be quick, but I didn’t realize just how quick (the hot water runs out after about a minute). I highly recommend this stay for a solo trip or couples trip.
