Summary: We had a wonderful stay at this property. Location was very private but close to everything you would need. The pool was awesome and we used it every day. Kitchen was well equipped, living spaces comfortable and the house was exactly as pictured. Thank you!

Summary: Had a great time staying at the “Pool House”. With the hot and humid we had during our stay, we very much appreciated having the pool! House was cozy and clean. Very peaceful at the property, but close enough to restaurants and a supermarket for convenience.

Summary: The house is in a perfect location (just a brief walk into town), and the pool and fenced in yard is fantastic! We really enjoyed our weekend stay here and would go back for sure. It's a very private location, but also close enough to East Burke and Lyndonville to really get out if you want to. The host was super responsive and the home was very clean and had plenty of space. One thing that I didn't love was the upstairs bed; it just wasn't comfortable to either of us (but there are more beds downstairs if you end up feeling the same way). Again, fantastic home, pool and location!

Summary: This place was a great place to stay! The house was super clean, and was very roomy and cozy. We had wonderful weather and got to enjoy the pool, which was a huge plus! Super big yard! Close to town but also secluded and private at the same time. The outside grill space was awesome too! We would definitely love to come back again next summer!

Summary: The house was everything needed for my husband, son and I to enjoy an extended weekend skiing, snowshoeing and enjoying Burke. The house was clean, everything we could need to make our own meals was on hand. The sauna and heated garage were phenomenal amenities enjoyed immensely during the cold winter stay! Would love to return to enjoy the property in the summer months! Highly recommend!

Summary: Loved it! Very cozy cabin feel, with a full kitchen, and an attached garage. The only complaint I have is the only bathroom has a fairly small sink vanity, but I'm really reaching if I'm complaining about that. If that's the worst I can come up with, then this place is great! Kitchen was fully stocked with plates, cups, silverware. Shower was warm, hair dryer is provided. Very close to Burke Mountain and the Dashney Nordic Center, and even closer to a couple places for food in the East Burke village. There's a good size grocery store less than 10 minutes down the road in Lyndonville.

Summary: Don't underestimate this place. Holy cow. It's called the "Pool House", yes, there's a pool, but we went in January. So for us, the access to the xc/fat bike ski trails right out the door is amazing! We got some fresh snow and tracked out the entire area. It was cold enough that the tiny pond froze over right behind the house - ice skating possibilities! And the sledding was awesome! (Bring your own sleds). The kids sledded down the road that goes up to the two other properties, that was a fast run. We were so excited to drive our VW Atlas with a car top carrier right into the garage with no problem. Loading and unloading was amazing in a heated garage and we didn't have to worry about snow on the car. Coming into the house the tile floors are heated. And our 3 kids each got their own beds in the bottom level (2 queens and a twin). Bring FIREWOOD if you want to use the woodstove. Kitchen was well equipped (though not for advanced bakers needing electric mixers) but the drawers were stocked and the place was clean. We had the best time here. You don't go to VT for the classiest of furniture and decor, you go to be cozy and have a good time with family (and friends) and this place surpassed all expectations. The one thing I need to note is that no one in these reviews talked about the sauna! My heritage makes having a sauna as part of our daily life and this was such a great pleasant surprise. Like any sauna it takes a while to heat up, it's in the lower level of the house, and it was just the icing on my husband's birthday cake. Such a fun time, we will definitely be back!

Summary: We booked last minute and were nervous when we didn't get a response back from the property manager about arrival details. When we arrived they were finishing up the cleaning and gave us the code to get in even though we were a bit early. Once there, everything about the stay was delightful. The pool is wonderful, the location feels quiet and fairly private despite the very short drive to food and a great ice cream place. The outdoor kitchen was a huge plus and our dogs and kids loved the fenced yard. The fire pit was also a great surprise, and we loved the stargazing at night. All around an excellent place to stay and we will be back :)
