Summary: My partner and I greatly enjoyed our stay. Very easy and clear communication with owner. Eclectic mixed decor was fun and interesting - but not overwhelming - to be around. Neat mix of records. One of the bedrooms had window AC and was incredibly comfortable (mattress, bedding, etc) - we didn't use the others. LR A/C worked well so despite a hot week, we stayed cool. Having both front and back spaces outside to hang and be social, play cards, etc. was great. Local grocery store had quite a bit to choose from but a lot of expired dates/poor quality, so I suggest bringing your own perishables. The kitchen is well stocked with everything you could need, except a microwave. Very easy to use stovetop to heat items. A few of the pots and pans we went to use had old food (e.g. popcorn oil and kernels) or were sticky. Other than these few situations, everything was incredibly clean. I suspect the last folks who stayed used things and put away without washing, which would be easy for a cleaner to miss. We highly recommend this location and owners!

Summary: This was my first experience with VRBO. Our host, Meaghan was wonderful from start to finish. Everything was exactly as advertised. And there was so much more. We thought we would use the cabin as a base for our Catskills adventures but we discovered that the cabin was an integral part of the vacation. We cooked most of our meals there. We did yoga together as a family on the beautiful patio. Some of us explored the area on bike and others on foot. Meaghan made our stay pleasant and stress free. She was quickly responsive to questions. The cabin is clean and the decor is really interesting!! Thanks so much Meagan!

Summary: My husband and I stayed at Meagan's place for a long weekend. It was defintely one of the most well-stocked rentals we've been to. The home was comfortable and we had a lot of fun taking turns picking out records. I also loved the decor! We didn't realize there were homes close by but it definitely did not detract from the stay and we still felt secluded enough for a peaceful getaway. Highly recommend!

Summary: My wife and I spent 4 days with our 2 dogs at the Dogwood cabin. The weather was a bit rough so we couldn't enjoy the outdoors but it was a very cozy and warm stay. The cabin is beautifully decorated with little details everywhere. Meagan was very flexible with check-in/out which was a breeze. The place was very clean and the kitchen fully stocked. We would love to come back next winter!

Summary: We spent a week at Dogwood Cabin over NYE and truly enjoyed our stay, especially our cozy nights by the fireplace. The property is even nicer than in the listing and is decorated with a lot of attention to detail. We had everything we needed and would definitely return.

Summary: I booked this “birthday getaway” for myself not expecting that I was going to be displaced from my home following Hurricane Ida. Not having a “home” and staying with relatives had me feeling really disconnected from myself. My stay here really helped me ground myself and reconnect after some very challenging times. The place is decorated with such care, I found myself pouring over the attention to detail and getting inspired to decorate my next place, wherever that is. I spent almost my entire stay on the property, spending most days just sitting on the deck and staring at trees. A hummingbird even came to visit me! There are plenty of things to do in the area and nearby, but if you’re looking for a place to simply live more simply and reconnect with nature, this is an excellent choice. I would definitely stay here again and recommend it to friends. Megan was also just the most amazing host. She was very responsive and helpful. I am a very “reserved” person and try not to “bother” people, but I had to reach out to Megan a few times about things I felt silly about (ex: I locked myself out :)) and she was very kind in her responses and I didn’t feel like a nuisance.

Summary: Perfect little getaway and location! Close, but not too close, to fun breweries, restaurants and hiking! Meagan was so responsive, helpful and accommodating. She left a lot of suggestions for going out and anything you could need to just stay in and relax! Highly reccomend!

Summary: We had a wonderful time! The cabin feels secluded but is filled with all the necessary comforts. The deck is lovely and my kids loved playing there and I enjoyed having my coffee there. The cabin truly has all you will need for cooking or else. Plenty to do in the area within a short drive. I liked minnewaska state park, and skinners falls. Highly recommend.

Summary: We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Meagan’s cabin. The photos did not do it justice. The cabin itself was very welcoming - beautifully furnished (loved the kitchen area and the fantastic album collection). It was the ideal setting to escape from the hectic pace of NYC. Hopefully we will visit again soon.
