A cozy cottage in the beautiful Adirondack Park overlooking the Upper Hudson River. We are located on a dead end road with very few cars traveling by. Very peaceful!
If you're looking for a relaxing setting by the water this is the place! Swim, fish, kayak, or just relax on the hammock overlooking the water. At night, enjoy a fire and relax on the Adirondack chairs. Launch is available for your kayak, boat or jet ski. Larger boats can be launched from the public grounds just a few miles away.
Village of Lake Luzerne offers a public beach, golf course, charming restaurants and groceries. Other local attractions include horseback riding, rodeo and river rafting.
It's a short 15-20 minute ride to Lake George Village, Six Flags Great Escape Amusement Park, shopping outlets, and hiking trails galore. A 30 minute drive to Saratoga Performing Arts Center, Saratoga Springs Race Course, Saratoga Polo, and Saratoga Casino.
Cottage has an open floor plan. Kitchen is updated with all stainless steel appliances and granite countertop. Island has seating for three. Small kitchen table seats two. Living room offers a pullout couch and a flat screen tv with Youtube TV. The two slider doors give you a gorgeous view of the river.
Bedroom offers a queen size bed, two closets and dresser. Washer and dryer, which is located in the bathroom, is available for guests. Full size bathroom includes a shower stall-no bathtub.
Backyard features table and chairs, gas grill, firepit, Adirondack chairs and hammock. Pier, dock and ladder available to access the water. Private driveway for parking two cars.
For fall reservations, please note that we have radiant floor heating only. The wood stove is not useable at this time. We have space heaters that warm the home pretty well, but nights do get chilly.

Summary: Had an amazing little weekend getaway at this cottage! Beautiful view of the river and an extremely relaxing atmosphere. There were stores nearby if we needed to grab something quick. Would recommend and stay here again!

Summary: The house was awesome. Clean and nicely prepared for our stay. Everything was as listed. The lake was amazing. 20 minutes to shopping, Lake George, outlets, etc.

Summary: We come to this area every August, this was our first time staying here but we plan on booking again for next year. Great location right on the hudson.. we enjoyed the kayaks, fishing off the dock, the Hammock and fire pit. Everything you need to stay in but also not a far drive to lake George, Saratoga, and other area attractions. Being able to bring our dog with us is a huge bonus, there is a lot of other friendly dogs on the street. Looking forward to enjoying again next year.

Summary: This house was well equipped for everything we might have needed. Since we were only there for 3 nights we didn't actually use most of it. It's peaceful, with the beautiful river right there -( just check the current before you go in - it was a bit rough the night before the thunderstorms )- and yet the last morning, about 6, it was perfectly calm. Internet was fast and great and we watched a movie using a netflix account one night. Check out the lake just a mile up the road past the turnoff to the street - about a mile away - for calm, clear, safe swimming and kayaking - a good place to take kids, with a roped off area for swimming and benches and grass, with easy, free parking and even a hose to clean off your feet.

Summary: Great place to stay as a couple. This property is simple but has everything you could need. The outdoor space and views are incredible and you could spend hours fishing, kayaking, or just enjoying drinks on the dock/water. Carol is great at responding to questions right away. We would stay at this property again.

Summary: Teaching middle school in NYC has been stressful. I wanted to get away for a few days to someplace peaceful during my Thanksgiving break (a break from all the noise). This is the perfect spot. Carol was very easy to communicate with and went out of her way to make sure I had everything I needed. I had no issues with anything during my stay. This place is close to Lake George, and has a lot of wonderful restaurants and hiking trails. The property is clean, spacious, and cozy for a 1 bedroom. Being able to sit right by the Hudson River in the morning while drinking a nice cup of coffee felt very refreshing. I got used to this space very quickly even during my 4 day residency. This is such a beautiful area of the Adirondacks. I honestly don't know if this could have been more perfect for me. I appreciate how helpful Carol was, and for giving me the opportunity to stay here. Thank you so much!
