Our 2-bedroom, 1 bath bungalow is located in the heart of the Hyde Park/North University area. Built in the 1930’s, the house has been lovingly restored and updated. The house has lots of period details, including a screened-in back porch, hardwood floors, custom moldings, and divided lite doors. It is furnished with quality modern and antique furnishings, original art, luxury linens, and enjoys super strong wifi.

You can enjoy the many activities and amenities in this charming historical neighborhood, which is only minutes from the University of Texas and Downtown Austin. Summary: We truly enjoyed staying at this property. The house was clean, and inviting, and fun stay to in. Sitting on the back porch was a lot of fun. The neighborhood was safe and filled with similar homes (those were fun to look at too). It was close to everything we planned to do. I always feel that the best way for me to rate a home is if I came back to Austin, would I stay at this home again. For this home, it is definitely yes.

Summary: Originally being from Austin I knew the neighborhood. It’s one that you drive through getting to super cool places, and wish you lived there. I thought about that every morning when I woke up in this perfect house, on a perfect street, in my (temporary) perfect neighborhood. The pictures speak for itself, the house is beautifully decorated. It’s also very functional, providing everything you need. The neighborhood is very walkable, with many great restaurants and lots of shopping nearby. It’s very quiet and peaceful. I highly recommend staying here. I’m hopeful it’s available the next time I’m back home in Austin!
