Summary: Fantastic cottage on the lake, everything was as advertised, the cottage is large, open with lots of room for family and friends. Clean and comfortable. Hosts were responsive to events outside of their control and did their best to ensure the impact on our stay was minimal. Highly recommend this property.

Summary: We loved the drive into the property because the colours of the leaves were amazing! The cottage is set up beautifully and had everything we needed. The new sauna was great and the memories we made were special ones. We will be back!

Summary: Everything was wonderful except for the weather (definitely not your fault).... since we spent so much time indoors, we appreciated the roominess and comfort of the open spaces and bedrooms. I loved the kitchen that had everything imaginable needed to cook and serve. Thank you for a wonderful rental!

Summary: ARRIVAL: Self-check-in went smoothly and the gift basket with a bottle of wine and goodies was a nice touch. INDOORS: the cottage is very spacious, very clean and well stocked with everything you could possibly need in a cottage stay. Pretty modern amenities (good satellite internet, TV, DVD player, sound system). Pretty extensive DVD collection that led to a daily movie night. Sofas are extremely comfortable, maybe too comfortable to the point that it was sometimes hard to get people to come outside :) OUTDOORS: we enjoyed the use of a picnic table next to the cottage and one next to the beach, 4 Muskoka chairs, fire pit, 2 kayaks, 1 paddle boat, and life vests. It also has a BBQ. Lake Superior can get pretty windy but the beach is somewhat sheltered in a small bay. The water in front is shallow and very clear. Water shoes are are a great idea. COTTAGE AREA: beautiful view of the lake and mountains in the distance. Despite having cottages all along the shore, it is very private and peaceful. It helps that the cottage is accessed after driving 17km away from Highway 17. We didn’t hear anyone around us during our stay which was surprising for an August stay. In a nutshell, we couldn’t have had a better introduction to Lake Superior ! Thank you to Jozee and Evan for being such great hosts and quickly responding to all my questions before and during our stay.

Summary: This property is an absolute charm and welcoming! It is very peaceful, spacious and cozy! Your own private beach access is steps away from the cottage. Everything you need is available such as a bbq and appliances. Pet friendly is an added bonus as our pup was in complete heaven roaming the beach and swimming when she wanted. The view is spectacular. If you want relaxation, this is definitely the place to spend a week. Highly recommend!!!

Summary: We just returned from a wonderful week with family at the cottage today. We can't express how happy we were with everything! The cottage was so beautiful and not one detail was missed, even the gift basket upon arrival. We packed everything but they really had everything there you could possibly need. The view was so serene and we enjoyed morning coffee on the deck, afternoons on the beach and bonfires in the evening. We didn't leave the cottage much but there is a country store nearby that carried most necessities as well as a LCBO, another gem were the apple fritters from the TravelersLodge. Jozee was an incredible host and we can't wait to visit again next year!

Summary: Amazing property that checks every box. A bit of a drive from the Sault but worth the 45 minutes. Bring water shoes as there is a mix of sand and rock...great shallow sandy area for kids. Cottage is so spacious...never had such large bedrooms and a King size bed at previous rentals. Full service kitchen with everything you need! Wall of DVDs and books. Just spectacular!
