Walking distance to swimming beaches. Close to pub, grocery, coffee shop, and gas station. 1.5 hour drive to Port Renfrew.
Accommodation comes with patio, BBQ, firepit and use of garden with outdoor seating and dining. Parking for boat and trailer is available with the public boat launches close by. Suite has private entrance, comfortable lounge with a pool table to enjoy fun evenings.

Summary: We very much enjoyed our stayed. A real treat. Friendly hosts who made us feel welcomed. The location would have been perfect if it had closer access to the lake (within walking distance) but it was easy to get to Arbutus Park to see the lake.

Summary: Hayley and John are truly the best hosts! I was exhausted and Hayley stepped in like your favourite big sister and did all the organizing and thinking for me. I can’t say enough about her and John’s hospitality. The suite is equally spectacular and the beds so comfy cozy. Every attention to cleanliness and comfort has been thought of. Summary: Our first trip to the Cowichan area was delightful as we rested, ate meals and played games in Hayley and John's spacious accommodation. The unit had everything we needed for use and comfort.. And the location was so close to a lovely swimming beach and small store. We had a wonderful time! The hosts were very gracious, knowledgeable about the area and fun! We feel as though we made new friends through our experience.

Summary: The pictures & description of this wonderful place to stay is more than accurate. All you need is some groceries & your set. Hayley & John are the best hosts around & we absolutely enjoyed our visits with them :) They are so accommodating & you feel like you are family/friends staying here. You will not be disappointed!! Wonderful Wondeful, we are sure hoping that it works out that we can stay again next year. :)

Summary: Who would of known, a quaint, fabulous location and host. Haley went above and beyond our expectations. Loved our stay, the garden sitting area was so calming. Will be back next year for a longer stay. Lucy says “thanks for the treats”🐾

Summary: I've stayed in a lot of vacation rentals. Hayley and John are among the best of hosts. They are very welcoming. The rental unit is well supplied and very comfortable. As a bonus on two different walks I saw elk just a block or two from the apartment.
