Summary: Overall Cozy Cottage was nice. Bedroom is a little tight and is only a full size bed. Flooring could use a good updating. Location was great, very quiet and nice having a water view. If you want groceries, you must shop in Burlington, as Grand Isle does not have an official grocery store. Cottage is tucked away from traffic which is nice. There is so much to enjoy in this area.

Summary: The view of the lake is spectacular. It's just an old school country cottage. It takes you back to a better time when life was simpler playing cards with family fishing down next to the lake. The hosts are really nice people. Inside was a really nice book that tells you great places to visit and fun things to do while you're there. And I do recommend the two heroes brewery.

Summary: If you need a place to just "be" - this is it. Settle in with a hot cup of coffee in the early AM to watch and listen to the morning wake-up calls from the local birds. Go out and play locally - we enjoyed biking. Then come back to sit by the water.

Summary: Location of the cottage was amazing and tucked away with water access. Quiet area. Amenities were pretty thorough. Double bed was too firm for our liking and pillows too flat. Fireplace was available for use but no kindling just large wood chunks provided and not sure about its overall cleanliness. Space heater was what we used to keep warm as our stay was mid autumn. No fuel in more permanent heater fixture which would have been better but we didn't want to mess it up since it was empty.

Summary: We enjoyed our stay at cozy cottage. The house had everything we needed. The views were nice and had lovely water access. We went as a family of four with two young kids. Our only complaint was the bed was pretty uncomfortable and the pull out couch really not usable. Would have been better suited to just two adults in terms of sleeping arrangements. The beach access was nice for skipping stones but we preferred to go to a local beach to swim. Luckily there were many convenient options. We also would have liked to have a streaming option for the TV as the options for kid-friendly tv were limited. It was very clean and quiet. Nice porch. Easy access to local stores, activities and restaurants.

Summary: Cottage was very neat and clean. We stayed with our 2 adult granddaughters and had plenty of room. The location is beautiful with a stairway down to the shores of the lake. Highly recommend!

Summary: Cute cottage, very clean. Nice location for checking out Vermont. Stowe an hour away, Burlington 1/2 hour drive. Nice hiking trails as well.

Summary: The location was great and the fishing off the property was awesome. The cottage was clean and comfortable. The owners live in the house next door and were friendly and accommodating while not being all up in your business like some other rentals with on-site owners. I look forward to staying there again!

Summary: Loved the cottage (very clean & full of essentials) location & views….being on that beautiful lake……place was very nice, with lots windows for views all around & plenty of guests seating . The TV was challenging. Well appointed kitchen & cooking space & private bedroom ( but bed ‘very ‘hard’’ ugghh ) , window a/c unit in LR & fan in bedroom. Lots of fresh air if open windows in nice weather. Steps down to water, but a bit mossy to swim, & difficult to get kayak down the steps. Gas grill was nice ( just full of cobweb’s).

Summary: This was just what we were looking for. It was a lovely quiet break on a busy road trip. We slept 4 in the cottage. The pull out couch was somewhat less comfortable, but our teenagers could handle that! :) The cottage was close enough to Shelbourne and Burlington for sight seeing, but far enough away in a quiet area for some relaxation. We thoroughly enjoyed the kayaks, screened in porch, and the sitting area on the stairs for a view of the sunset. Another bonus was that the TV was set up to use comcast so we could stream from our phones to watch a movie. The owners are right next door. I was able to text them when we had a small issue, and they took care of it right away.
