Summary: This place has more amazing views than I was expecting! It was great exactly as listed. The town of Leadville is not very nice but since the place is very centrally located and separated from having to look at the rest of the buildings in the town it was great. We were able to travel to many beautiful cities around leadville by staying here. I would definitely stay at this place again. You cannot beat the views!

Summary: Very spacious, comfy beds. There were a few challenges: about half the outlets didn’t work and the kitchen amenities are challenging if you plan on cooking meals. We spent most of the day away, so overall it worked out okay for us.

Summary: This is a very nice place that I would recommend with just the one caveat. The accommodations worked out well for myself and my 2 teenage daughters; the description was accurate. And I love Leadville, especially the 11.6 mile trail that loops around the town with plaques that explain historical mining sites that can be seen everywhere. It also has a great view of the mountains. The road/driveway leading to the property needs some rock to firm up the extremely muddy stretches where, without an AWD vehicle, I would have had concerns about getting stuck. The listing does state the unit offers a kitchenette. Not a big deal if you don't plan to do dinner meals yourself. The hotplate has 2 burners; large and small. the large one does not heat up enough to boil water. The small one does but it's small. Also, not much for pots. Instead of pasta I bought some rice and prepared it in the microwave in individual dishes. Just buy a new hotplate and a couple pots. Does have a crock pot, toaster oven and nicely sized microwave, so we were able to make it work, just took way longer than it should have, and often times a lot of creativity, to make dinners. other than that it was a great stay. Used the hot tub a couple times; nice!

Summary: We very much enjoyed our stay here, and I would book again, but there are definitely things to keep in mind. This property is a few minutes outside of "town" which offers *stunning* views, but is secluded. The drive did not pose any troubles for us, but don't bank on being able to make it up the hill in winter if you don't have a vehicle that thrives in Colorado. If you've ever been in a basement, you know it's a gamble as to what the noise level will be like. We lucked out with a family above us that put the kids to bed and got quiet early, but a crew of young adults would make for a very different experience. I should have paid closer attention to the details (my fault), but there is no dishwasher or oven. Not a deal-breaker, but put a kink in my dinner plans. We found the beds to be very comfortable, there are plenty of heaters to meet the needs of the space, and we had room for all of our toiletries/clothes/ski gear. Having a garage to park in very nice! The shower is on the small side, but we didn't mind since the hot tub gave us a perfect place to relax and soak. My kids were disappointed that the air hockey feature of the multi-game table wasn't working, but that's not a deal-breaker either. Overall, it's a quaint place for a small group to stay.
