Our family-run business presents one of the finest Airbnb's in the Omaha area. As short-term rental "super hosts", and historic home restoration experts, this historic 1918 craftsman home has been lovingly updated to preserve its original charm, making it a harmonious blend of the old and the new.
It is a spacious craftsman-bungalow style home, set up especially for guests. Perfect for weekends, business trips & longer stays. Highlights include premium furnishings, all memory foam mattresses, professional cleaning, and responsive hosts.
Fully restored in June of 2023 by our family team - that includes a master craftsman wood worker - every attention to detail has been made to make your stay comfortable.
A beautiful space with plenty of room for games and dining and food prep with its fully equipped kitchen. We have fast Wi-Fi, Smart TVs, washer/dryer, and in the yard a propane Bar-B-Q grill with outdoor seating for 8 +. And ALSO a rare commodity: On-site parking for up to 8 cars.
This home has an abundance of natural light throughout, with three beautiful bedrooms on the 2nd level plus a lovely Sunroom for use as a 4th bedroom with its single day bed.
The huge master bedroom has a king bed plus a walk-in closet. The # 2 bedroom has a queen size bed with closets, and Bedroom # 3 has a full-sized bed with a single trundle bed underneath. There for a little one, there is a diaper changing table. All beds have new memory foam mattresses.
So many places to sleep:
Downstairs in the family room, the comfy couch opens into a full-sized bed, there are 2 high quality Sealy queen airbeds that are easy and fast to set up and take down with built-in pumps. Plus, two "bean bag" chairs/beds (see pictures) turn into full size floor mattresses. Put them wherever you want in the home.
The dining room and kitchen are built and furnished for large or small gatherings of friends and family. New stainless-steel appliances in the kitchen, knives, plates, pans and platters, make food prep fun and easy. A large dining room table with 6 chairs can take even more seating if you pull 8 gaming chairs from the game table in the family room basement.
Wired-in smoke and CO2 detectors, new plumbing and wiring, updated heating and air-conditioning and accessible fire extinguishers ensure your comfort and safety.

Summary: Booked a stay for the whole family. We had our children, grandchildren, and grandparents for a trip to the zoo. There were accommodations for everyone. Summary: The home is lovely and the owner easy to reach. The location was just what we needed and really suited the young mom and baby who were with our group. It was not as ideal for the over 70 folks. Stairs were a bit challenging and there is no bathroom on main floor. The kitchen power is a bit funky. A breaker easily trips if more than one item is in use ie. microwave and toaster or tea kettle. Overall I would still recommend it and stay there again depending on the mix of people in our group.

Summary: Stayed here for 2 nights. 5 adults, 5 children (Age 2-8). Nice location, plenty of off street parking. Kitchen is fully stocked, pack and play for baby, two additional queen air mattresses. Full bath upstairs and half bath in basement with full laundry. No bathroom on main floor which was not an issue for us at all, just mentioning it for the elderly, etc. that may be looking at the property. Beds are all extremely comfortable.

Summary: We were in town for the Berkshire shareholder event. We found this listing pretty late when demand was high and listings were limited. I’m so glad this property was available. The house was very conveniently located near the airport and convention center/downtown. Access was simple, instructions were clear, and Carol, our host, even had a fruit plate and meat/cheese plate waiting for us…which was awesome bc we had all missed dinner due to our late arrival!
