Positive: It was a great location away from the centre but with easy public transport. Just what we wanted.
Negative: We didn't dislike anything but a vegetable peeler would have been useful! And advice to out-of-state visitors on recycling.

Positive: Matthew was very welcoming and on hand for help with any queries. A very helpful file of local information was provided. I appreciated the tea and (good) coffee. Also a full size fridge and cooker and comfortable bed. The house is in a safe and pleasant suburb with nearby public transport to downtown and the airport. There are local shops a 10 minute walk away.
Negative: I did have some suggestions to feedback, but chose to do this in person to the host.
Summary: A quiet place to stay in easy reach of the city.

Positive: This is a cute and cozy suite in a beautiful and quiet neighborhood. There is a grocery store 10 minutes away (on foot). There are a number of parks nearby and it is in a safe area of Vancouver. Most nights I walked around late at night and never had any issues. The hosts were wonderful and did everything they could to make our stay wonderful. The room was clean, well maintained, and had all the amenities you'd expect.
Negative: Know going in that this is a pretty small place (very small kitchen adjacent to the bed) and while we never had any issue with the size it would be harder to prep large meals. With that said there is a decent sized fridge and everything you'd need to do so, it would just be a little cramped. The bed was a little bit uncomfortable but nothing that interfered with our enjoyment. Overall there are little things we could nitpick but overall we had a great stay. For the price, it was great value and it fully met all our expectations. If I find myself wanting to stay in that neighborhood of Vancouver again I would definitely seek this place out. Highly recommend.

Positive: Matthew was a great host who was responsive but not intrusive. The suite was cozy under the main property but completely private in a quiet neighbourhood. Liked having a full sized stove and fridge. Half the price of a downtown hotel and only about 15. Minutes by Uber to anything central so we came out way in front.
Summary: Very comfortable convenient and value for money in an expensive city.

Positive: Matthew is a nice guy and very helpful. The suite is very cozy and well located. It has good access to supermarkets and bus stations (about 7 minutes walking). The neighborhood is very safe and staying there is quite enjoyable. The kitchenware, bathroom, and toilet were clean. Since the suite was in the basement and lacked enough natural light, the lower price was reasonable. Or it could have been even slightly lower. If I travel to Vancouver again, I will choose this suite for my stay.
Negative: The bed sheets and pillowcases could have been much cleaner. We bought a new set and used it.
