The space
This is a 0.3 acre property with a wide (approximate 65 feet) lakefront and 1600 square living space in a one level house. The boat dock is large, around 750 square feet , with 2 boat lifts, dining table, multiple fishing rod holders . It has a second level 500 square feet deck for a 180 degree view of the lake and surrounding areas.
There is a ladder (in the boat dock) that helps access the water safely if the level is deep.
The back patio of the house overlooks the lake and is very scenic, especially during sunrise and in the evenings when the boat dock is lit up.
The lake brownwood water level varies. The lake has almost been full since June 2024 with water level of approximately 6-7 feet at the boat dock, perfect for swimming and fishing. We have provided a canoe for the guests to use for free. We require for guests to sign a liability waiver. But message me for any concerns.
The backyard is spacious, good for games, with bbq (charcoal and gas), a fire pit
or just lounging around looking at the stars at night.
The location is near restaurants, grocery stores, golf courses, and nightlife.

Summary: If you are coming to Brownwood, this is an excellent place to stay! It is clean and bug free. Moonyeen and Don were absolutely wonderful to work with. They responded quickly to every request or question we had. They were both so kind and helpful. The house was stocked with everything we could have needed. The house is nice and affordable. It’s conveniently located, which made it easy to get to town and back. The dock is incredible and Don and Moonyeen let us use the canoe as well! This was a fantastic trip! Very relaxing, fun activities (outdoors and indoors) great accommodations, and super friendly hosts. You will not be disappointed if you stay here! Thanks for the memories Don & Moonyeen!

Summary: We had two families stay at this property for the long holiday weekend and it was perfect for our group! Plenty of parking for our 3 cars, including a boat trailer. It was easy to dock our boat on the side of the boat dock and we left it there overnight each night. You do have to climb over or under some handrails to get on/off the dock when parking the boat on the side. Convenient access to a boat ramp 3 doors down (you have to contact the ramp owners and pay them for usage). This side of the lake was ideal for swimming at the dock, as there isn’t much boat traffic or waves as a result. Water levels were great in July, but this is the side of the lake that goes dry quicker than the rest. The house and dock were well lit at night, great ambiance. Great communication with the owners and they have a binder and notes easily accessible in the house that answer common questions. Would highly recommend this property to anyone. Great lakehouse!

Summary: This was perfect for our family to get out of town and breathe some fresh air and have a beautiful view of the lake. The property was nice and beautiful for our kids to swim in the lake. Property manager was available to my questions promptly. Over all I will do this again
