Summary: Even though it rained every day we stayed we loved every minute of it! The St. David cabin was just as the pictures, not too small and not too big. The two person tub is amazing! The host is super helpful and full of information.Highly recommend!

Summary: The description says 4WD or AWD is recommended for inclement weather, but inclement weather must mean rain at any time in the past week, because my AWD SUV struggled every time we went back to the cabin even after 3 days with no rain. We almost got stuck every single time. The topsoil is very loose with a few large rocks that are not firmly in the ground to gain traction. It made it very stressful every time we left. Otherwise, it was wonderful. There were people in cabins on either side, but it was far enough away that we never would have known they were there if not for the cars. The cabin was as clean as could be expected from a cabin. Our two teenagers loved how it was cozy yet with plenty of space. The bedrooms were very large. The kitchen was well-stocked and the furniture was in excellent condition. I would not recommend this for the elderly though it is listed as being good for elderly. There are a lot of stairs and they are very steep. Not a problem for us or our dog, but I certainly wouldn't bring my 70-year-old mother to this particular cabin. We learned how to play a new game as a large board game was available on top of a trunk full of games and puzzles. There were many screens missing on the porch, but since we were there in the beginning of spring, that only meant we couldn't use the porch with our dog, but it will be a problem in the summer with bugs. Overall, a wonderful experience. Highly recommended for families with teens in good physical condition and a 4WD vehicle. The property was wonderful with great yard games in the barn. Nice trails and a cute pond. If you didn't plan on leaving the property, I think there is plenty to do.

Summary: The heating and water heater were stellar! We could not have asked for a more comfortable visit inside. Some of the screens were missing on the screened in porch which was not advertised. That made it difficult to enjoy time out there with our youngest child. There is also a pirate ship that is out of order and that was part of the reason we chose the cabin

Summary: It’s a good thing they invented GPS, or we would have never found White Oaks Cabins. It’s located off some back country roads in a very peaceful and serene area, far removed from the stereotypes of Indiana flatness. Our cabin was warm and cozy and we especially enjoyed sitting on the screened-in front porch in the evening, listening to the sounds of nature. Despite its seeming isolation, it’s only a few miles from a nice restaurant (Lucas Oil Clubhouse) and a grocery (Jaycee’s) in the town of English. Heather, the property manager, was always quick to respond to my questions. You’ll enjoy your stay even if you don't have the same perfect weather that we did.

Summary: There is a wedding venue nearby and there is quite a bit of noise later into the evening and all throughout the day which disrupted the idea of a relaxing camping style cabin trip. There was Karaoke and loud music. It was hard to use the game barn because everything was always taken by the guests in the large cabin and there was music blaring so loud in the game barn from guests that you couldn’t have a conversation. The screens were ripped on the porch so bugs could come in, defeating the purpose of a screened in porch. We wanted to use the picnic table in the middle of the cabin area we rented since the land was flat there, but it was broken so we had to use the picnic table in front of our cabin which was on a hill and excessively uncomfortable for that reason. One of the plastic chairs provided for the fire was broken. The property has potential, but unfortunately, myself and my coworkers felt the cabin simply wasn’t worth what you pay for it and that the area just needs some TLC.

Summary: This was a last minute anniversary trip. 22nd to be exact. Wanted to visit French Lick but wanted something quiet from town. Because we left after work from Plymouth,IN. We didn’t get to the area until 10:30pm. The area is very remote and some of the roads were hard to see. Overall was a nice place to stay. Very clean and tidy. My only Suggestions would be big reflective signage with directions. Also better lighting on the staircase and porch.
