Aloha! Join us as our guests in our cozy lake home at Hawaiian Village in Papillion, Nebraska, only minutes from downtown Omaha and the CHI Health Center. Yes, Hawaii in Omaha, Nebraska! Our 1-1/2 story lake home with furnished walkout basement provides 5 bedrooms, 4 bathrooms, see thru fireplace and approximately 3,000 sf of paradise lake living space. The 5 bedrooms include 2 king beds, 2 queen beds and 4 single beds providing sleeping in beds space for 12 people. A full bathroom is located on each floor with a powder room off the kitchen and dining room. There is a laundry room with washer/dryer on the main floor. A fully furnished kitchen provides dining for 12-14 people. The kitchen is highlighted with granite countertops, LG stainless steel appliances including an electric stove, microwave, dishwasher and 25 cu French door refrigerator, Keurig coffee maker, Ninja air fryer and blender. The finished basement features Samsung appliances in a kitchen/wet bar area with a second refrigerator and eating area. There is also a theater room with a 85 inch Sony smart TV. The exterior features 110 feet of water front and a sandy beach with spectacular views. For your enjoyment there is a 15x30 foot maintenance free deck with table/chairs, a 14x24 foot concrete patio with Char-broil grille, outdoor furniture and a large paver area with fire pit and wooden Adirondack chairs for your comfort when making S’mores. Summary: This cozy home was a great stay for our entire family! We had plenty of space for the adults and 2 small children. Check in and check out were simple. Home was clean and had plenty of spaces for us to relax and enjoy each other’s company. Outside area was comfortable and we loved being by the water. Would recommend to anyone! Our family would definitely return for a stay here!

Summary: We really enjoyed our stay. The house had plenty of room for our group that included three generations of our family from teenagers to grandparents. We enjoyed the balcony and covered patio that overlooked the lake. The downstairs gameroom was perfect for hanging out, playing pool and games. The host was very good with communication. Would definitely recommend this rental and will stay there again if our travels take us back to the area.

Summary: Perfect location to gather as a family to celebrate grandbabys first birthday. Home provided a pack n play while also offering a main level bedroom for great grandmother. 4 generations! Home was clean, beautiful view of the lake, and perfect size living area for us to sit and visit. Owners were easy to communicate with if you needed something.

Summary: The home is quite spacious and perfect for larger groups - multiple bedrooms, sitting areas, and bathrooms. I wasn't expecting to find a property in the area, so we were already surprised, and then to see how accommodating the home and owners were - I couldn't recommend more.

Summary: I had a reunion of old high school friends, for the occasion of a baby shower / postponed stag party that didn't happen because of pandemic. So we finally decided a date and location, and the wonderful property in a lovely neighborhood popped up. It's absolutely gorgeous, and Jon and Cindy are absolutely gracious hosts.

Summary: We were in the area for our boys to play in the Slump Buster baseball tournament in Omaha and Council Bluffs. The location was convenient for both ball fields. The home was perfect for 4 families with 4 teenagers - lots of room inside and outside for the kids. They enjoyed fishing in the lake. We enjoyed sitting on the decks watching them. Beautiful property and subdivision. The VRBO hosts were so kind. You really can't go wrong with this property!!

Summary: We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at this property. We had 4 families reconnecting for our parents' 40th wedding anniversary. The owner, Jon, made us feel like old friends who just happened to borrow their place. He even popped back over to the house when we had a couple questions, and he let us borrow kid life vests for use on the dock. They also supplied beach towels, yard games, and grilling tools so taking advantage of the property was a breeze. The property is beautiful - the decks, patio, and beach were a welcome oasis. We enjoyed the built-in firepit (with firewood provided) to roast s'mores multiple nights. Our kids loved fishing off the dock and catching a variety of fish. The internet worked well and seemed to be a fast connection. The location is 5-10 minutes from a well-stocked Hy-Vee, and it was a simple 20-minute drive to downtown to access the museums. Overall, this experience was pleasant, and we would stay with Jon at this lake house again if we have the chance.
