Come be our guest at our charming cottage located in the heart of Lake Stevens, just 45 minutes north of Seattle, and a short drive to Snohomish, Everett, and Marysville.
Red Cedar Cottage is a charming historic house with updated, modern furnishings, pillow-top beds, soft linens,and a full set of dishes and cookware.
Red Cedar Cottage has added a new HDTV for movies, TV, and gaming, as well as Xfinity High-Speed Wi-fi for keeping connected!

Previously a summer vacation destination, residents now enjoy the lake and community year-round. Come relax in our cozy living spaces and sleep comfortably in our plush beds. Cooks have everything on hand to whip up a great meal in the well-stocked kitchen.
When evening comes, sit out back in the grassy yard and enjoy the small-town atmosphere, or take a short walk to the lake and boat launch to enjoy the quiet north cove and park.
This cottage has three bedrooms and each is quite unique. The spacious upstairs loft has four single beds. Downstairs, there are two bedrooms; each with a comfortable queen bed. Each main floor bedroom also includes a free-standing wardrobe for clothing and storage.
The kitchen is large and open, and includes a refrigerator, dishwasher, gas range, microwave and coffee maker.
The full bathroom is spacious, light-filled and sparkling clean for your comfort.
This cottage also features a large, open living and dining room area with comfy dual couches and seating for 8 at the dining table.

Summary: House was in a great location… close to grocery store and local eateries. Kitchen was well stocked with plates, glasses, cutlery, and cooking utensils. There is a very large backyard that would be great for families with kids. Enjoyed our stay.

Summary: This little house was perfect fit for us. It’s much nicer than the pictures show. The sheets and towels were all white sparkly clean. It felt really cozy staying in this property.

Summary: We were here for a quick 2-night stay over Thanksgiving. We chose the property because it was a 2-min drive/13-min walk from family we were visiting for Thanksgiving so we didn't do anything other than sleep/shower here. We noted the same quirks as some of the other reviews but overall we enjoyed our stay in the comfortable and convenient house.

Summary: Cute place, lots of room for a family. Nice loft upstairs that the kids loved. Road noise is a little loud if windows are open at night, but manageable.

Summary: Upon first entering the home there was a bit of a weird smell at the backdoor and into the kitchen. Outside was likely a cat using the flower beds as a restroom. The smell did not transfer to the rest of the home and once we purchased and used an air freshener it was fine -- I left the air freshener behind for future guests. Other than the smell upon first entering, the home was very clean and plenty of bath towels were provided. There was a washer and dryer available to use which was handy. The kitchen has basic cookware but you will want to make a run to the store if you are needing tin foil, spices, etc. You will also want to bring with you or buy tupperware or ziplock bags if you intend on wanting to store any leftovers. The home is on a main road so there is constant traffic throughout the day/night. That being said the home is near the lake for swimming, multiple stores/shopping centers, etc. It was also only about a 20 minute drive to the nearby town where my family attended a wedding. Check in was easy as there is a keybox with a code of your choice so you could arrive anytime after the check-in time. I also liked this method and leaving the key in the box so you don't accidentally lock yourself out or mistakenly take the key when you check out. The home got a bit warm, especially upstairs but was able to cool down with the use of fans and keeping windows that had screens on them open over night.

Summary: Perfect for our family. We had everything we needed. Very clean and comfortable beds. However, if you are a light sleeper, do not sleep is front bedroom as it sits close to road and vehicle traffic will wake you up in the am. Thank you for our stay. It was very enjoyable.
