Summary: This was our 2nd stay at Mammoth Cave Cabin Rentals. We stayed in one of the cabins on the lake this time and had just as good of a time as the first. When passing through this area and want to break up our trip, we will always keep this is in our minds!

Summary: This was just what our family of 6 needed! Close enough to some fun family activities like Mammoth Cave and zip lining, but would be the perfect stay if you never left the property! We had so much fun just fishing, kayaking, hiking, and enjoying the beautiful night skies and property! . Would highly recommend to anyone for a peaceful getaway!

Summary: We really enjoyed our stay here. The cabin was extremely clean and is basically brand new all around. We had two adult couples and had just the right amount of space. We brought our own kayaks, SUP and tubes for the lake which is crystal clear (we later learned it is spring fed). If you don't have your own kayak, renting theirs is very cheap and easy to do. The neighboring cabins were spread out and there was very little noise which kept it a peaceful environment overall. You can use the beautiful pavilion anytime to grill, have a fire, or relax in a rocking chair or swing. We met the owner one day and he gave us the history of the property and told us about their journey to create and manage this place. He was very accommodating and fun to talk to overall. The hiking trails are very well marked (there is lots of signage on the property overall) but a little overgrown at the time we were there. It was worth the short hike to see the cave! Speaking of caves, be sure to visit Mammoth Cave which is amazing as well! WiFi was a bit spotty but they were upfront about that and it was not a concern for us since we wanted to disconnect and relax anyway. Communication with the owners was easy and fast via texts for any needs. We'll be back here again for sure, probably next time with the kids who would enjoy everything they have to offer here (including a brand new playground).

Summary: Such a beautiful cabin by a relaxing lake. We greatly enjoyed our little hike to the cave and waterfall on the property, too. It’s just as amazing as the pictures look—truly a wonderful place.

Summary: We rented Cabins 7, 8, 9 and 10 for a large family vacation. Each family had their own cabin and the pavilion served as the gathering place. The adults can’t stop talking about how perfect everything was, and the kiddos age 1 to 15 loved it all! The lake was great for swimming. The kayaks were such a bonus. But what they can’t wait to return to is the on-site cave. They were absolutely thrilled with how huge it is and climbed all over the immense rocks. The pavilion was everyone’s favorite place to hang out, relax, eat meals and make s’mores. Delightfully furnished with rocking chairs, adirondacks, several picnic tables, two fire pits as well as a stone fireplace. We didn’t spend a lot of time in the cabins but we can say they are ultra clean, cozy, great kitchens, very comfortable beds. The sunrise view from the porches was unbeatable and the sunsets were glorious. David goes above and beyond to create a property that is literally a vision come to life. ALL THE STARS to this piece of Heaven.

Summary: We had a great time here. The cabin was VERY clean and accommodating. Full size washer and dryer was great so we didn’t have to pack a ton of clothes. The beds were very comfortable. Towels, soap, shampoo (which is good because it was the one thing I forgot) toilet paper etc are provided. The kitchen has all the necessities and if there’s something you need the owners will bring it to you. There is also a charcoal grill and fire ring as well as Adirondack chairs for relaxing outside . The back porch has a gate so it can be closed in which is convenient if you have small kids because they can play on the porch safely. The views are great and it is a very relaxing place. Mammoth cave and Nolin Lake state park are close by and have some great hiking trails. We will definitely be back!
