Our cozy cabin offers the best of both worlds- a rushing stream out front and mountain views from the back. Pet & motorcycle friendly, our 2BD/2.5BA cabin is close to the Blue Ridge Parkway, Great Smoky Mountains, Cherokee, Asheville, Waynesville, & Lake Junaluska.
Elk View earns its name- watch elk wandering from our porches & enjoy paved, flat roads which provide easy year-round access to the cabin anytime of the year!

Location, location, location! Elk View is a 2BD/2.5BA cabin where you can enjoy watching either the sunrise/sunset or elk wandering through from the grand front/back porches. The primary bedroom is on the main level, along with full & half bath. The fireplace in the living room is electric. The cabin is perfect for relaxing & making special memories with family and friends. Cabin has a king, queen, and sleeper sofa (queen).
When you arrive at this modern log cabin, you will notice a large, flat concrete driveway which holds four large vehicles comfortably. Once inside, you will enjoy a clean, warm, well-decorated 2BD/2.5BA cabin with all basic amenities. You will need to bring everything you personally require to have an amazing Mountain Cabin experience with you.
Opportunity to bask on the front/back porches, which include rockers, a fire table, grill, porch swing, and chairs. Enjoy the breathtaking short-range mountain views off the porch, including Ghost Town visibility, with a hot cup of coffee or tea. The house is located in a community where elk roam freely; it is very peaceful and relaxing.
The primary bedroom has a king-size bed with access to the back porch. The upstairs bedroom has a queen. Each bedroom is equipped with SmartTVs in which you can access streaming channels. The living room has a 43" TV.
The fully-functional kitchen has an island, dishwasher, microwave, stove, and refrigerator.
WASHER/DRYER - located on the main level
Strong WiFi most days, but when the weather is bad, no guarantee
Electric fireplace in living room
Propane Grill (each guest who uses it is required to clean it after use)
This is a non-smoking home. We do allow smoking on the front/back porches and outside. Please do not throw butts in the trash can or in the yard/driveway.

Summary: We had a great time in Maggie Valley. The cabin was exactly as described. It was clean and well taken care of. The view of the mountains from the cabin was amazing!! We even saw elk in the neighborhood eating pears from the trees and grass in the yards. We loved it!!! Definitely a place we’ll stay again.

Summary: The cabin was the stuff of my dreams!!! It was very clean, fully stocked for use in the kitchen, & the garden tub was awesome! There were beautiful mountain views from the back deck and the front porch swing was heavenly especially with the sound of the creek across the street. It was so peaceful & relaxing and beautifully themed. I will definitely be back with my family. My yorkshire terrier dog loved hanging out with me on the front porch and walking along the creek. And the morning we were checking out, two Elk came into the neighbors yard bidding us a beautiful farewell.

Summary: Beautiful home with lovely attention to details! Home could not have been cleaner! Enjoyed our stay! We traveled with a 27’ motorhome pulling a motorcycle trailer and we had plenty of room in the driveway to park! Bed was very comfortable and I enjoyed the garden tub each night for relaxing! Great that we could bring our little Maltese fur babies with us!! Would definitely stay again!

Summary: We thoroughly enjoyed the At Home feel this cabin provided us during our stay! This cabin is great for two celebrating a milestone or a small family spending quality time together. The loft provided a great space to read and play games. The rooms are spacious and comfy. The kitchen has all you need to cook, however, I will say there are Great places close by to eat! 100% recommend The Buttered Bisquit for breakfast! The cabin's location makes for an easy drive to many fun and adventurous things to see and do and the host put together a great informative binder showcasing restaurants, activities, etc. Communication with our Host was easy and response was within minutes. We will definitely stay at this property on a future trip back to Maggie Valley!!!

Summary: My wife and I have been visiting the Maggie Valley area for over 10 years and we have always stayed at VRBO properties. In short, this was the best home we have ever had. It did not seem like a rental - especially one that allows small pets. The home was very clean, exactly as described, and had everything needed for a pleasurable stay. The sound of Campbell Creek across the street was wonderful while enjoying a beverage on the porch swing. Great outside space front & back. We just bought a home close by but if we were to ever rent in the area again, this would be our first choice.
