Summary: This was a great location as a base to explore Mt Ranier National Park or to be used for skiing. The house is very open and roomy, is very modern but slightly rustic in feel with great amenities. The bedrooms are large, have ample space with large firm beds with each having large windows with modern blinds. There are large full-sized bathrooms located upstairs and downstairs. The kitchen is well furnished, has good lighting and is large and very modern with up-to-date amenties (newer fridge, newer stove and large sink). The dining area and dining table is large and well lighted. The family room is expansive and very open and the wall with antlers displays and tells the story and a bit of history about a proud architect and outdoorman and what area offers. great location, totally liked it! We used the location to explore and access Mt Ranier and in particular the Lake Tipsoo and the Sunrise area. We did multiple hikes that were stunning in display of scenery, flora and wildlife. We were fortunate to have good weather that was cool and with some light rain and clouds which proved fantastic hiking opportunities; yet every now and then the clouds would break apart and or lift away and allow some visibility of Mt Ranier in its full grandeur. My family and I really enjoyed our stay, thoroughly enjoyed the park, and the hosts hospitality--- if we needed something Ilmar got right on it solved the problem (very responsive, communicated well and was very personable).

Summary: My friends and I loved staying at this cabin. It's very homely and comfortable and a great location if you plan on going to Crystal Mountain or Mt Rainier National Park. The house had a bit of a problem with the heating not working when we arrived but the host was very responsive and worked hard to sort out as much as she could and ended up giving us her portable heaters in the meantime. We were kept in the loop the whole time and felt like she really went above and beyond for us given the situation. We hope to be able to come back again one day.

Summary: My friends and I rented the place for a ski trip up to Crystal Mountain for a long weekend. The property was very cozy during the cold weather and was very close to visiting the mountain (<30 minutes to parking). Everything was well furnished and could easily accommodate our group of 8 people, would love to stay again in the future!

Summary: We had a little difficulty getting into the property, but the owners were readily available. The house is well constructed and could fit two families comfortably. We especially enjoyed the location, fire and laundry room. The only small nuances was that lighting was overall dark and the dishes were difficult for shorter people to access, but we loved staying here and would again!

Summary: Our family had a wonderful weekend here! The house was clean, organized and charming. We really enjoyed family time by the fireplace. The kitchen had everything we needed to cook meals and the house has great spaces for ski gear and clothes. We can’t wait to stay here again!
