NO INTERNET! There is minimal cell service pending provider. Not recommended for small children. Dogs only, $100.00 pet fee. Please bring their food & water bowls and do not allow on furniture. Please walk your dog away from the cabin to allow them to use the restroom. HOT TUB IS FIXED!!!

Summary: We had a great New Year’s Eve here . Everything was clean and worked great. The area was really quiet which is what we wanted , we walked the woods behind the house in the morning , very peaceful . If I had to add something it would be some more cozy blankets 😅 . But I would come back .

Summary: Loved the accommodations, we were overly impressed. The only issue for us was the amount of critters/spiders. Yes, its knee deep in the foot hills, but there were dead bugs all over the place upon arrival. There should be a clean sweep prior to guests arrivals. I requested birthday accomodations which were met without fail. We were able to hit the Shenandoah, Charlottesville and spend time on the property. The views were impeccable. Overly impressed with our accomodations, and plan to stay again in the future.

Summary: The location and access to Shenandoah National Park were great. It was a little driving, but our goal was fall colors, so the drive allowed us some awe inspired moments. The cabin is a little quirky. The bed downstairs is a swinging bed, and also not big enough for a 6 foot tall adult. The bathroom downstairs is also quite small and uncomfortable. The kitchen wares were lackluster. There was no coffee pot, only a Keurig, which would be fine if you were prepared for a Keurig. It just felt like this cabin has a lot of potential, but there were no "personal touches" that make it feel like its worth $250/night. You can get the nicest hotel in any city in Virginia for the price of this place - My overall summary: cute cabin with potential, but overpriced and underwhelming.

Summary: We had a great time on our getaway. Had some questions and the owner was very responsive. Great place on the mountain enjoyed the swinging bed that was interesting. Would definitely come back

Summary: Unique cabin. Full size beds. Swinging bed downstairs made for an interesting weekend. We had a great time hanging out in the hot tub and using the fire pit. Close to the park. Excellent stay :)

Summary: Unfortunately because of the weather we only stayed 1 night. the house is very cute and clean. There was a lack of coffee cups(only 1) and utensils were sparce. (2 forks, 2 Knives). The only other thing would be that there is no WIFI or Cable TV. We knew this coming in but when the weather goes bad and you are trapped in the house it leaves you with no options but to check out.

Summary: This is a nice place to stay. We did have a few little issues during our trip. One of which was locking ourselves out. The main door that the key works on, only works on the deadbolt, not the regular door. So we ended locking ourselves out. We were able to contact ths owner and get it unlocked and they did apologize. But if you have a door with 2 seperate locks and keys, then both keys to that door should be provided. Hot tub lights werent working, not a huge deal, but still they were blue in the photos and thats what I was expecting. Lot of steps, so be careful if you do bring dogs with you as we did. Remote control didnt work. So a minor annoyance of having to get up everytime to change the volume. No regular TV, only DVDs. Would love to see an update with a larger, modern tv and wifi. And furniture is very uncomfortable. Couldnt lay on the couch with my wife because its shaped like a boomerang, and no matter how we tried to lay down and watch a movie, it just wasnt comfortable. Host was accomodating and communication was fine, we did end up leaving a day early because we needed to get home. But overall, if you want a secluded place, it is a nice spot.
