Summary: The cabin sits prominently in the forest. It is fully stocked with required amenities, e.g., quality towels and linens, blankets, dinnerware, silverware, Keurig coffee maker, cooking spices, etc. It is spacious, cozy, warm, especially clean, no odors. My wife and I had the place to ourselves for a much-needed vacation/retreat to decompress and recharge. Coffee tasted even better as we sat in the sunroom taking in the snow. The deck outside the main bedroom receives the first beautiful rays of light as the sun peeks above the mountains and through the treetops. Nature is incomplete without the wildlife which we witnessed up close. Jan maintained communication with us before and during our visit and assured us handsomely. Unfortunately, the forecasted major winter storm convinced us non-snow types to depart earlier than planned and good thing we did considering the winter blast that arrived with heavy snow. We, though, fully enjoyed our stay and hope to return in the non-winter future.

Summary: We loved are cabin in the woods with snow all around us! This was the perfect place to stay for us! We went to winter park, golden, este park and a few other places near by and this was a great place in the middle! The cabin had everything we needed and more! We will be back! Summary: We had an amazing stay in this warm and cozy cabin. We had everything we needed to have a comfortable stay while receiving over 20 inches of snow and -15 degree weather outside. We would stay here over and over again during all seasons. It’s a must for anyone wanting to escape the hustle and bustle and relax!

Summary: Well maintained and clean cabin was perfect for our family. Location is remote with beautiful mountain views. Quiet and peaceful place to relax. Cabin had everything we needed. The private lake was a beauiful place to sit and enjoy the view. Closest small towns had essentials if needed. Hiking trailheads within short driving distance. 45 minute drive to Idaho Springs for recreational activites, shopping and plenty of places to eat.

Summary: This cabin is an amazing place. It is very clean inside, well-constructed, incredibly comfortable, home-like with great personal touches all throughout, large enough to easily accomodate a couple of couples with children, or just a single person looking for a quiet place to rest and/or work. The cabin is nestled in the mountains, in a very quiet area, close enough to other cabins not to be isolated but far enough away to have privacy. The host is very friendly and available for any needs/concerns. A playhouse and swing set is on the property for small children. A great deck off the master bedroom is perfect for breakfast in the morning, or any other time of day. Great gas grill there for cooking. Fully stocked kitchen to easily prepare all food if needed. Dirt roads around the cabin for walking/running, with access to a local, private pond for fishing. Great wi-fi access, with multiple TVs for entertainment/work. A truly beautiful and tranquil place to rest and enjoy with family and friends, or alone. Within 10-20 minutes driving distance of a small city with restaurants/bars/grocery store if needed. So grateful to have been able to spend a week there. And grateful to our host who made staying there easy.

Summary: Someone already said it, but the on- line photos don't begin to do it justice. Large, attractive and well furnished cabin. The beds were the best I've slept in. Our host responded to all of our questions in a timely manner.
