Located a short distance from Big Sand Lake, northwest of Cumberland, Wisconsin--one-quarter mile down the town road to Owners' lake access. And it's just a few minutes from the Timberland Hills ski trail complex in southeast Burnett County, featuring endless cross country skiing and hiking trails.. Also close to the Sand Lake boat landing. The lake offers good fishing year-round.
This attractive 3 bed/2 bath home is tastefully furnished and fully equipped for your comfort. Also, our guests are invited to enjoy hiking and snowshoeing, sledding and tobogganing on our 270 acre farm across the road from the home.

Summary: Overall stay was good. House is at the end of the long driveway so was a little tricky when hauling SXS’s on trailers but not a big deal. Nice to have washer and dryer at the house, fire pit was great, basic cookware was available and host brought small crockpot for us to use. One bath towel per guest was provided, master bed was comfortable but other two weren’t (for kids it would be fine).

Summary: What a beautiful location in a practically brand new modern cabin! Out far enough to feel secluded, but still close enough to town to not be an inconvenience. The host was amazing, friendly and understanding. We had a wonderful comfortable time.

Summary: The cabin was just what we needed for our stay in northern WI. The accommodations were clean and well kept. Location is excellent - close to Cumberland, Spooner, and Shell Lake. Our host, Mary Jo, was very kind and great to work with before and during our stay.
