Cozy get-a-way. This location has the best of both world's. You can leave the hustle and bustle behind, yet only 4.5 miles to the interstate I-24 and a short drive to downtown Nashville. Everything you need is here, comfortable beds, flat screen tv, peace and quite, parking, adorable kitchen,snacks and supplies,side deck to relax and fenced in back yard. Deer and wild turkey's visit often. This is a pet friendly property and we will welcome your pets ,we will have treats, leashes, bowls if you need them and a fenced in backyard for them to run and play, if you need some one to watch your pet or let them out to do their business while you go out sightseeing or own the town we can arrange that for small fee.
Quite private setting, no neighbors around, as this home is situated on 10 acres. This studio apartment has been fully decorated with a separate entrance and you can park right in front ,as there is plenty of parking.
Approx. 1200 sq. ft., 2 large main rooms + bathroom. One side has a king size bed with flat screen tv, gas fireplace and queen sleeper sofa, cozy chair for reading and closet, and charging area for your phones. The other main room has two twin size beds, separated by curtain from the Kitchenette/Dining area.
All Kitchen amenities are included. The kitchen has a refrigerator, range, microwave, blender and Keurig Coffee Maker, regular coffee maker stocked with Coffee and Teas. All cookware, utensils are provided, as well as snacks and bottled water and cold drinks
Satellite - Direct TV and Hughes Net Wifi Internet Available (depending on the weather, internet may sometimes not work consistently)
I’m just a text away ( I’m available only if you want to see me) I respect your privacy,I have also provided brochures for activities and restaurant recommendations upon your arrival.
Washer and Dryer in unit and supplies for your convenience
Other amenities include: Hair dryer, shampoo, conditioner & soap toiletries, iron, ironing board, hangers, laptop friendly workspace, gas fire place heat, Split unit AC/Heater.

Summary: The place is great for both humans and fur kids! Private, safe fenced yard for your furry kid to play. Water dog bowls inside and outside. Plus, the host is amazing - responsive and clearly loves dogs. You can just feel the care and effort she put into the place to make your fur child as welcomed as the human guests. The place has everything you may need for your stay and it is in a great location. Perfect to relax and chill in nature, but close enough to drive to Nashville for a night out. We did lots of nearby hiking including some very cool and unexpected places like Andrew Jackson's Hermitage where dogs are allowed all over the grounds (just not in the buildings) and the grounds of The Parthenon. We totally, 100% will return!

Summary: If you are looking for a relaxing, dog friendly, very clean place to get away - this should be your 1st and last pick! The queen size bed is so comfortable - Told from a person who had back surgery! Donna thought of everything and does her very best to make sure you and the dogs are happy! Thankful we found this wonderful place!

Summary: Can’t say enough positive things about our stay, the property is just as described and about 15-20 min from Nashville. Quiet, beautiful, serene. Perfect for relaxing. Our 2 dogs loved the completely fenced yard. It’s obvious Donna loves dogs!!! The house has everything you could possibly need and is decorated so lovely. We rent a lot through VRBO and this place should be a model of what it means when places advertise “pet friendly”. Don’t hesitate to book, if we’re ever back in Nashville we would hope to stay here!

Summary: Calico Cottage was very cozy. The beds were extremely comfortable. The property was beautiful and the fenced in area for our fur babies allowed them to play and run after being cooped up in the car. Thank you Donna for your hospitality.
