Real log Cabin situated in the Daniel Boone National Forest. Minutes from miles of hiking trails in the Cumberland Falls State Park. Minutes from the Grove Marina at Laurel River Lake for boating, fishing and hiking. An hour or less from Pine Mountain and Cumberland Gap National Park. Kroger's and Dollar General are less than 10 min drive. Many great restaurants nearby.The Mint Gaming Casino is one exit south with legalized gambling. Also Downtown Corbin nearby with many great restaurants,shopping, arcade and ice cream parlor. 3 bedrooms all with Queen beds. 1 full bath with Laundry on single story home. Wifi internet with amazon fire stick. Full blackout curtains in bedrooms for a good night's sleep. Fully equipped kitchen. No dishwasher, garbage disposal. Our home is strictly an animal free zone due to severe animal allergies persisting in the family. Rental agreement and house rules need to be reviewed and accepted before accepting booking. Summary: Family stay to recreate photo at the Falls from 52 years ago! Stayed with brother and sister with spouses. House was PERFECT! We spent all of our time there on the back patio.

Summary: The owners were very communicative. The cabin was very clean, cute, and cozy. The bed we slept in was of good quality. I only gave a 4 because the listing indicated there was a Whirlpool spa and there was not. We had filtered by spa/hot tub because we wanted one, and so were a little disappointed that we didn't have that option. The owner was very gracious, though, and was not aware that the spa amenity had been displayed on their listing. The place is in a great location to enjoy Laurel River Lake. We had a lovely meal at Wrigley Tavern. While I wouldn't change a thing, I'd recommend adding a grill to the deck. The owners don't want people cooking with (excessive?) oil inside, having an outside grill is a good alternative. I have never stayed at a cabin that didn't have one, and I didn't event think to check, so that's on me. Also, please remember that some people are allergic/have sensitivities to heavily scented items. We had to unplug their very pungent plug-in and put it back when we were checking out. All minor tweaks. Even without them, we'd definitely come back and recommend this stay to our friends.

Summary: Clean property. Easy contact with the owner. Check in and check out was easy. Close to the lake and Cumberland falls. Would stay again. Main reason for staying was fishing in Cumberland River.
