Negative: The check-in was really cumbersome. First I came to the indicated address and called the person in charge 1.5h later than the check-in time...so I assume the from and everything was ready. This person was really informal tending to be rude and demanded that I had to pay for the traveller taxes again (which was already included in the booking fee). As you cannot cancel and I needed to stay I told him/her (sorry I could not identify) that I would pay and I did the money transfer (being the total paid amount similar to a normal price in Rome=not cheap). This person told me I should wait until they receive the money and then I had to go and find the key into a box, exchange photos like ten times with this person (instead of them coming to give you the keys and indicating where your room is). It happened to be that our room was not even located in that building but one in front, which was kinda ok. I also received instructions through a Video via WhatsApp of how to enter the building and access the room, which was located in a shared apartment. The person on charge asked me to send a picture back of the room I found with the instructions, but it was the wrong place. Then she/he started insinuating that I was slow at understanding and I decided to video call to make things easier for both sides. This person then realised that the instructions were not correct and just told me to go and open another door, but there was a couple there already in bed, I felt terrible. At the end I just received the room this person told me not to go to, as they messed up the bookings, apparently. All the surfaces were full of dust, the balcony was dirty and full of rests from other guests (I suppose), the bed was comfortable enough although the upper blanket had some stains) Apart from this. They don't even explain what can you use and what not. There were two bathrooms, both not in the best cleaning status, but let's say ok.
Summary: Terrible communication, a fairly comfortable bed, overall lower than expected

Negative: Extremely rude staff Very Unprofessional No info about the added tax Delay in check in: Had to stand in hot burning daylight for half an hour. They didnt even open the door for us to sit for a while before we pay for their tax.
Summary: Awful experience with staff, passable bathroom and okaish room.

Positive: The apartment was very acceptable for our needs in the end, however when we arrived there was just one bed in the room which wasn't ideal since I was travelling with my Dad. However, the staff were pretty helpful in getting it sorted. It's a slightly weird setup and we struggled to get in to the apartment on arrival and also had to climb a high wall to get in on our second night there which was ok for us but is something worth noting if it might not be possible for some! Beds were comfy enough and the room wasn't too warm. Bathroom was shared but pretty clean. Shower was a handheld shower head. Location was pretty convenient for the end of the tube line into Rome, about 20 mins total journey from Rome central station to the apartment.
