Summary: The check in process said not to use garage entrance but the entrance to the place was on the side of the garage(aka the garage’s entrance) so it was confusing and not visible from the road. Upstairs unit had some noisy occupants who woke us up in the middle of the night around 2 am by their stomping and yelling. Wi-Fi username and password were wrong online but the welcome book had the correct info. Place was clean and stocked with anything you could need. Very cool art around the place and was nice for what we needed in that weekend overall

Summary: The place was fine—it matched the listing and did what was needed. The cleaning requirements at the end of the stay were also nothing crazy (strip the bed, wash and dry used dishes, etc). However, we arrived in Burlington around 11PM and the access code for the unit had not been changed to match the check-in instructions I had been given. Fortunately, the contact person was still awake, so I was able to get the previous code from them, but this could have seriously derailed things if we got into town later. The property was also not stocked with extra toilet paper, so I had to contact the property manager a second time. Since it is managed by a random company, the contact person had changed since the night before. The new person didn’t know where a TP backstock might be and had to drop some off later in the day. Lastly, the pillows on the bed were horrible. Like, budget roadside motel level bad. But, like I said, overall the place did what it needed to do and was more affordable than a hotel room.

Summary: Very clean, centrally located to Burlington and easy to access. Exactly as specified in description. It is a basement apt with natural light, emergency window access, and comfortable. Kitchen was well stocked and bathroom was decent size and clean. Neighborhood seemed safe but neighboring houses were not as well maintained as this one.

Summary: The place was really clean with bright colors and fun art. The exercise equipment was a huge plus. The only downside was when people were upstairs, you could hear everything. There was no soundproofing between the ceiling and the floor.

Summary: This fully furnished basement apartment was absolutely perfect for our 4 day vacation in Burlington. Located in a very quiet redidential street, it has a double space driveway, a convenient keypad lock at the entrance of the huge garage we get through and another keypad lock with the same code to head to the big basement area loaded with gym equipment, couch and office space. A door leads to the apartment which is nice and cool. It has a very big emergency exit window that we opened for fresh air whenever we were in. The queen size bed is comfortable, we slept very well! A convenient walk in closet next to the bed with lots of shelves and hangers + a closet at the entrance. The kitchen is very well equiped, with a convenient island, all we needed to prepare our breakfasts we would take along to eat by the Burlington lake less than 10 min away, and our lunches we would bring on the great beaches (North beach and Leddy beach). So easy and quick to drive to Burlington! One of the incentives to stay outside of Burlington was the price, which was the best we found, and with the 40% exchange rate for our canadian dollar, it is a big factor. Also, staying in an apartment instead of a boring hotel or motel room made our stay so much more enjoyable, it felt like a home away from home. Hal our host was very responsive. We had a GREAT stay and we will certainly be back.
