Summary: Was there for a quick weekend trip in the area. The host was friendly, the location was quiet, and the lake is beautiful. The host offers use of a Sauna if requested. The location is right next to an ATV/Snowmobile trail if this is something you are looking to do. The host lives on the property, but you likely will not notice them as they keep to themselves. Would stay again.

Summary: Our long weekend was fabulous, all the more so due to Mary’s warm welcome. The lake is lovely (we even got to watch the leaves change), the cabin is comfortable, well equipped with a touch of “up north” elegance. Using the sauna and rides on the pontoon boat were highlights of our stay, with plenty of room for all. We hope to go back soon and take better advantage of the excellent fishing in the lake. Really a 5 star winner all around. Thanks again Mary and Tim for sharing your little piece of paradise.

Summary: This much needed week was a perfect getaway. The host was so accommodating. Mrs Hooper takes enjoyment from providing for her guests. Lighting the sauna and being helpful (letting our dog out), she went above and beyond. The property is wonderful, I watched a beautiful sunset over the lake, caught a large pike and jumped off the dock. The seclusion combined with its location relative to the area was perfect. Could not ask for more!

Summary: Tim and Mary are excellent hosts of this very quaint cabin. The pictures on VRBO don’t give it justice. We enjoyed our week here. Great place to relax and rewind. We like the area since it’s central in the U.P. and gives us the ability to adventure out in any direction. We would definitely stay again.

Summary: This was an overall great experience! The owners are wonderful, the location is spectacular for whatever you want to do (fishing, rock hunting, water falls). We docked our boat right at the cabin. The evening sunsets are beyond! I would highly recommend a stay at this wonderful cabin on Fish Lake!

Summary: We had a great vacation! The lake waS perfect for swimming and fishing. The house had pretty much everything we needed to cook all week. The beds were comfortable. I'll b honest I was hesitant when I found out the owners live on the property as we are a family with 5 teenagers but we rarely saw them. we did however make friends with their dog Sage. She fit right in with us. overall i would highly reccomend.

Summary: Our family of 4 heads up to the UP for a week every summer. This year we decided to explore a new place to stay. It was our first vrbo experience, and we are so glad that we found it! The place has everything we wanted and more. The cabin has a beautiful view of the lake, a pontoon boat available for renting (just $50 a day!), a place for the kids to swim, including a jumping dock, and the sauna/bunkhouse is too cute! We've stayed in various cabins in the UP over the years but my girls said this one was the absolute best. We even made friends with the host's dog, she was very sweet, and visited us daily. We caught fish a plenty, and enjoyed many days on the pontoon boat. The lake was very quiet, and peaceful, just a really great place to relax and get away from everyday busy life. Mary, and Tim, the hosts, were very helpful in any way, especially when we got lost trying to find the place at first. Just be sure to use the pin she sends to find it as our GPS took us to a similar address on the other side of the lake off the beaten path, and that was an adventure in itself. But, totally my fault for missing that message. ;) I am pretty sure we'll be back next summer and can't wait to do it all over again! We had such a great week!

Summary: We had a great family vacation on this peaceful lake. Mary and Tim are amazing hosts who quickly became friends- they were both so kind and caring with our 2 young boys. Mary kept great communication with us the entire time(but not intrusive). The cabin is clean, cozy and inviting. They have a very friendly dog who my boys quickly befriended- they would even watch for her to come out every morning. I would highly recommend this cabin to anyone looking for a peaceful vacation. Word of advice to any other moms reading this…. Bring bikes- there’s tons of trails to ride and the kids will love it!!!

Summary: Our family consisted of Parents and 3 boys 27, 23, and 11. We came to spend time together, relax, and fish! We got exactly what we wanted! The house was clean to our high expectations! I spent every opportunity I could on one of the 3 decks and was so relaxed. You have access to the amazing view inside from the kitchen, living room, sunroom, and deck of the main house with sunsets to die for. Then there is the cabin with another amazing view that is seen from inside and from the upper and lower decks. You can even sweat it out in the sauna and jump right in the lake! Tim and Mary seem to have thought of everything you might need for your stay, and if you may need anything else just ask them! Their house is located on property with no difference than having the neighbors to the right, they are located on the left. They are amazing people if you want to take the time to find out, if not they keep to themselves. We booked before we even left and are returning in the fall! Cant wait to see the lake with the fall colors!!!!
