If the evening sunset is your favorite time of day, this Carolina Mountain cabin rental was made just for you. As its name suggests, sunsets are simply awe-inspiring at "Sunset Over The Blue Ridge." You will be awe-inspired by the magnificent panoramic 100 mile mountain views inside and out. You can even see the outline of Grandfather Mountain from this home situated on a private 11 acre tract!
Inside, you'll find a warm and inviting mountain style home, tastefully decorated with cabin and wildlife theme accents throughout. The main floor features 3 bedrooms, 2 baths, living, dining and a spacious kitchen. The great room offers a gorgeous stone fireplace with gas logs perfect for cuddling while enjoying TV and the views. High speed fiber optic cable and internet is available. Glass doors lead out to the spacious deck where you can watch the twilight skies turn from bright blue to shades of pink, orange, red, and violet as you relax.
Each of the three bedrooms on the main level offer a queen size bed. The master suite is spacious with it's own private bath, step in closet, and doors leading to the deck. The other two bedrooms share a hall bath and offer spacious closets.
The large kitchen complete with range, refrigerator with icemaker, dishwasher and microwave makes it easy to prepare a full meal or a quick snack.
Just off the kitchen is a large laundry room with washer, dryer, double sink, and in-wall ironing board with iron. PLEASE NOTE: The lower level is not rented out and is used by the owners sometimes during guest stays.
Sunset Over The Blue Ridge offers 11 acres including 4 forested acres with natural walking trails where you can explore till your hearts content. There is even a mountain stream fed by a natural spring.
Located just one mile from the Blue Ridge Parkway, mile marker 268, and just five minutes from Glendale Springs where the Blue Ridge Dinner Theater and New River State Park are located. The towns of Jefferson and West Jefferson are an easy 15 minute drive, with Boone and Wilkesboro within 30 minutes or so. For some winter fun, head to one of our three most popular ski resorts: Appalachian Ski Mtn, Sugar Mtn, or Beech Mtn.
