Nestled in a multimillion dollar enclave and walking distance to the stunning Point Judith Lighthouse, Back Beach at Camp Cronin, and some great restaurants and pubs like Chair Five, Ocean Road Bistro, and Aunt Carrie's famous ice cream shop - yum!, The Ocean House provides a quiet family retreat that's close to everything.
With two decks, a rocking chair porch, and flat little backyard, the Ocean House provides an indoor/outdoor relaxation destination for you and your family. Along with the sounds of crashing waves, the home is the perfect place for an idyllic New England vacation.
The large open area with ocean views invites you and your family to relax and bond after a warm day in the sun enjoying your favorite beach and ocean activities.
This home is an "upside down" house with three clean comfortable bedrooms on the first floor which include the master bedroom with bathroom ensuite, two additional guest bedrooms, cozy sleeping nook under the stairs, a second hall bathroom, and laundry. The master and first guest room both have queen beds. The second guest room is designed for children and young adults with two single beds. There is also a sleeping nook under the stairs with a cozy twin bed, a favorite spot for most.
The upstairs consists of an open great room with free flowing space between two outdoor balconies, one in the front looking out at the ocean and one in the back with a BBQ grille off of the kitchen. The stunning and spacious kitchen, dining, and living areas have ocean views and an additional half bathroom off of the kitchen. The kitchen is appointed with high end Viking appliances and a BBQ off the back deck. The living room is spacious with a flat screen television, WiFi, and plenty of seating for lounging and entertainment. The hardwood floors and imported Italian tile finish off the luxury appointments of the home.

Summary: The house is gorgeous with all of the good stuff - beautiful bathrooms, comfortable beds, wonderful and relaxing living room, nice kitchen, good wifi, air conditioning and best of all - right across the street from the ocean. We were there for a family gathering of sorts and could not have been happier. Thank you!!

Summary: It was a perfect home for our family. We loved the open floor plan on top floor with a deck in front and one in back. Everything was so comfortable. Loved the neighborhood and a quick drive to the beach overlooking the light house.

Summary: This gorgeous home with beautiful ocean views is in the perfect location- 5 minute drive to beaches as well as Block Island Ferry and great neighborhood for walking the dog. I absolutely loved the open floor plan on the second floor with so many windows and the deck off the kitchen has seating for 6 with views of the sunset. I would highly recommend this stunning home!

Summary: This gorgeously decorated, well maintained house was an absolute pleasure to call home for a week. Our family has rented all over Gansett and this is the best house we have rented yet! Quiet neighborhood, convienentely close to area attractions. With beautiful views of the sunrise on the front deck to colorful sunsets on the back porch, we never felt liked we missed a minute of our beautiful surroundings and seaside breezes. Central air, fantastic matresses, bedding and towels were an added bonus. The all Viking kitchen with every thing you need was on point for a family in the culinary business. Our host was fabulous, she checked in upon arrival, was available if needed (not that we did because everything was perfect), and followed up with our stay upon departure. We can't wait to return as this home lent to a fantastic memory making family vacation. Thank you!!!
