Dear Viewers
Our property spreads over 3000 sq. meters and its several terraces offering beautiful views of the surrounding mountain and the capital Quito. With a main house, a caretaker's cottage, a very large area for barbecue built in a rustic style, a beautiful swimming pool, a children playground, a grass pitch for ball games, 2 small fish ponds where we grow trout and tilapia, a wall with natural stones gives the back of the garden additional beauty. There are fruit trees along the front wall and around the property, such as oranges, lemons, peaches, avocado, plum, mangoes, blackberries, grapes, passion fruit, etc. The variety of wonderful flowers and ornamental plants further compliment the garden throughout the year.
This is a modern building with currently 4 double bedrooms and 2 twin rooms.One double room has its own on suite shower room. The rooms are modern, light and spacious with built in wardrobes, comfortable double beds and views of the green surroundings. 2 bathrooms are shared and comprise a hydro massage bathtub, built in modern bathroom furniture and tiled floors.
The kitchen is equipped with built in oven, gas hob, microwave, large fridge/freezer. The dining area is capable of seating 8 people whilst the breakfast table accomodate 4 places.
The Lounge area is on two levels offering views of the front and back of the property and a door is leading through a balcony and easy access to the back garden. A large flat-screen television, video and DVD, Stereo system with CD offers further entertainment.
This beautiful property is nestled in the valley of Los Chillos, only 25 minutes from Historic and downtown Quito and 3 minutes from a popular thermal location El Tingo, well known for its hot volcanic water. At the center of town only 10 minutes away, you can find everything and more at the largest shopping center of Los Chillos. Indulge in fashionable boutiques, light food, Ecuadorian traditional restaurants, cinemas, etc.

Summary: We stayed at this place for an extended week-end and it was everything and more that we could have asked for. The photos do NOT do it justice. It was already impressive looking through the description and photos online, but it is even more stunning in person. On a clear day, there is a beautiful view of Cotopaxi from the veranda. The view of the city at night is breath-taking. There was enough room for all of us to fit comfortably. The kitchen was enough to be able to make everything you need. We were even provided with a welcome fruit basket, cheese and ham as well as towels and soap in every room! Napoleon and his wife, Virginia, live on sight and are there for any kind of need. We had them start the grill for us for two evenings while we were there. There is everything you need only 5-10 minutes away (a Megamaxi and mini-mall). You would need a car or access to transportation as the house is quietly nestled away from everything. The wi-fi was great. You will need to bring bug spray and pants if you wish to play in the grassy area as you are out in the country. Worth every penny and more.

I would like to take this opportunity to describe our experience with the home, the help, and the host. THE HOME-This home is immaculate, and far exceeded our expectations regarding the services needed to make our stay comfortable, enjoyable, and secure. The home also offers breathtaking views from two balconies positioned on the hillside that overlook the Los Chillos Valley, and surrounding mountainous terrain, including a heavenly view of the Cotapaxi volcano. This home also has spacious and well maintained outdoor activity areas such as a covered barbecue patio, volleyball court, and huge pool area with shower and bathroom facilities. We took full advantage of these areas with friends and family, and had a wonderful time. The landscape of this property is filled with beautiful flowers and gardens that give you a sense of paradise! THE HELP-The property is well maintained by Napoleon Saltos and Virginia Lajones and their family. They have two wonderful children, and were always available to assist us with anything we needed. They helped with the barbecue pit, heating the pool, exchanging gas cylinders, and even helped us assemble a new fan! They were always kind, courteous and respected our privacy. We are truly blessed to have met them, and they have become our very good friends. We will miss them dearly! THE HOST- The property is owned by Luis and Hajni Altamirano. From the very first communication we had with them, we could tell that they had our needs and interests as their top priority. They worked with us in securing the property, quickly responded to any concerns we had during our stay, and helped us with a favorable lease termination, all while respecting our privacy. They are honest, kind, and willing to do whatever was necessary to assist in our convenience and comfort. Although our contact with them was limited, we cherish the positive interactions and the friendship that developed from them. Summary: We had a fantastic stay. Everything was great and I would return to rent without hesitation.The House Tender, Napoleon, did a great job. He and his wife were always available. The Garden and House were always kept clean and all guests felt welcome and safe.We enjoyed this experience and are sure to rent again!
