Quite hill country get-away. Sit on the back porch and watch the deer wandering through or build a fire in the fire-pit. Explore the small creek or just enjoy the peace and tranquility. Located minutes from downtown Dripping springs and about 20 minutes from downtown Austin. We are close to many wineries, breweries, and distilleries. Excellent space for small family gatherings, BBQ, lawn games, tree swing or just deer watching.
PLEASE NOTE HOUSE RULES
- There are security cameras and noise sensors on the property. This is not a party house. If you violate the 10 pm noise curfew, the police will be called and you will be evicted.
- There is no parking on the street, please limit the number of vehicles to 4 in the driveway. WARNING: if you park on the street you will be towed.
- Wild deer like to hang out in the back yard. Be careful where you step.
-There is a fire extinguisher in the laundry room.
- Locking the front door from the keypad arms the alarm. If you come back in the house through the back door after arming the alarm, this will set off the alarm.
- Beds sleep up to 8. Cots, crib, extra sheets etc. are in the master closet.
- Please load and start the dishwasher before leaving.
- This is a quiet retreat house, please respect our neighbors and refrain from loud noise and late night activities.
- Sports balls are in the bin next to the patio, volleyball net in the entry closet.
- Extra bedding is in the Master bath closet, as well as 4 cots and the crib.
Absolutely no crypto mining or electric vehicle charging allowed. If you run up the electricity bill you will need to pay overages.
- Note that the Creek is mostly dry during the summer due to the excessive heat.

Summary: The house is gorgeous. Location is a short ride in to Dripping Springs. It is well stocked with everything a group might need. Plenty of towels, every kitchen item, Plenty of hot water for showers. Very comfortable beds and couches. Lovely patio to enjoy the peaceful, private view. Very responsive hostess. We had a great time. Thank you!

Summary: We stayed at Creek Side Retreat while in Dripping Springs to attend a wedding. It was only five minutes from our venue and was the perfect home for our family. It is a lovely, comfortable house, and the owners have added all of the little extras to make for a perfect stay. Communication and check in/out were stellar.

Summary: Thank you for letting our group stay at your beautiful retreat. Everyone loved the house. It was perfect and easy. AND had comfortable beds. A short drive into Dripping Springs along Hwy 290, or a scenic drive to the north that wrapped back around to Dripping Springs. We would love to stay next time we are in town.

Summary: This was definitely the best place I’ve stayed at using Vrbo. Everything was very clean, the location was great, communication and check in/out were easy, the home and lot were very nice, everything looks just as advertised, and everything was easy to find and use because of these neat little labels they used around the house. No complaints. And the price is very reasonable for what you get!
