This 2 story cabin sits on the edge of an active horse ranch. The creek is right outside the cabin and is active year round. The second story has two queen sized beds, a full size futon, a large dresser, and a washer and dryer area. The stairs to the second floor are STEEP and are not easy to navigate for those with bad knees or hips or dogs. It is more like a ladder to the second story than actual steps. The bathroom is on the the first floor. Please consider this when booking.
Dogs are allowed in the cabin. There is a pet fee of $20.00 per dog per night. We enjoy having your furry friends on the property, but please be honest when booking. This allows us to be prepared for your stay as well as to inform our cleaning crew post stay. Any damage caused will be your responsibility. Again, the ranch has other animals around.. including horses, cows, cats and dogs. Please keep your pet leashed if there is potential it could chase these animals.
The cabin does not have central heat, but a propane heater on the first floor and an electric heater on the second floor keep it extremely warm throughout the winter. A large floor air conditioner is available throughout the summer both upstairs and downstairs.
WiFi included (though it can be spotty at times, due to the remote location ), TV streaming is available, but cable is not available.

Summary: We had a lovely stay at the creek side cabin. Debbie was wonderful and very responsive. The cabin was very clean and had everything we needed, she even left out some chocolates and waters for us when we arrived. Loved the horses and cows outside our cabin too. Would recommend this stay!

Summary: Everything was amazing! My son loves the horses. The location is close to several great attractions. The cabin was perfect! No need to over pack for your stay, they have thought of EVERYTHING. Any appliance you could possibly want. Lots of extras!! Wish we could stay forever!

Summary: This was a really fun property to stay at. The grounds are very nice. You have nice views and the property was very clean and comfortable. My kids enjoyed the horses and had a lot to do outside.

Summary: It was a fantastic stay. The spouse and I are both from the south and being able to enjoy our time at one of the cutest cabins I’ve ever seen, at a horse ranch no less, made our weekend exactly what we needed it to be. We even had a family of cattle hang near by in and around the flowing creek next to the cabin. As removed from the city as you could feel, we were still just minutes away from groceries and anything we needed from a town. Highly recommend if you’re looking for a place to enjoy the sounds of a ranch and take a breather without getting too far away from civilization.

Summary: We came to take the Royal Gorge train ride. Check in was very easy, owner is very communicative, the cabin is very clean and has everything you could need/want. The cabin is on a farm so there are animals roaming around which makes for such a neat experience. We also used the fire pit which we really enjoyed.

Summary: We had the best time feeding the horses. Beds were super comfortable. And the cabin is cozy! Perfect for a family who wants to spend time together. The stairs were very steep but we just took our time and hung on to the rails. We would love to come back!

Summary: We booked this cabin for an overnight and took the Royal Gorge Train in the AM. It's conveniently located to Main Street, restaurants, and tourist activities; while offering a remote feel on a ranch with horses, a cute kitty and cows! We didn't see anyone and had the place to ourselves. It had all the amenities and more - coffee and tea, shampoos and treats. There are two queen beds; my husband and I had one and our 5 month old had the other - we all slept GREAT! It's a wonderful little cabin and we'd definitely stay again.
