Relax and recreate at this unique and tranquil getaway. Fully remodeled cabin (530 sq. ft.) at end of long private drive on over 1/2 acre with towering trees and water frontage. Just 21 miles (25 minutes on I-5) to University of Oregon/Hayward Field/Mathew Knight Arena.
Large covered entry deck with porch swing and gas bar-b-q grill. Unit features hardwood floors, dual pane windows and skylights in kitchen, living room and bedroom. Fully-equipped kitchen features custom Alder cabinets, abundant counter space and gas range and on-demand hot water. Living room includes large sofa which converts to full bed and new 50" Samsung TV with standard and ROKU channels. Large bedroom includes Tempurpedic memory foam queen bed and NapQueen memory foam twin bed, plus big closet and loads of storage. Oversized bathroom features large vanity and washer and dryer.
Large, fully-fenced private back yard with fenced pond area, grape arbor, picnic table and steel fire pit/bar-b-q. Active deer trail between back gated fence and year round Silk Creek.
Abundant private parking space on gated property, including two spaces set up for EV charging. Less than a 10 minute walk to Downtown Historic District with dining, live music, antique stores and other shops. Cottage Grove, voted All-American City in 1968 and 2004, features 30+ different eating establishments. There are 19 sit-down restaurants (including Mexican, Thai, Chinese, Japanese, Indian, Bar-B-Q, Burgers, Pub Food, Steak & Seafood, etc.) plus several food carts and 12 fast food diners. We are just a 20 minute drive to Eugene and the Hult Center For Performing Arts, hundreds of restaurants and everything expected of a college town with 175,000+ population.
