The house is fully furnished and ready to use - full set kitchen for preparation of meals. Large country dining area with television, lounge area set with book selection for quiet reading, disabled access bathroom and toilet, paved patio area and large area for children to play.

Summary: We recently stayed in Crooked Brook. As previously mentioned it is an older home but comfortable enough and provided all we needed for our one night stay. The only negative was some rooms flooring need a sweep as dust & fluff was gathering but this didn't affect our stay. The complimentary breakfast was lovely and was pleasant to sit outside with the cattle in a peaceful setting

Summary: Thank you, house was in the perfect location, daily drive to our event was nice and quick. House was perfect for what we required, the kids loved the cows and roaming chickens. House could do with update of items, but worked out fine for us.

Summary: Lovely fresh bakery items much appreciated however spreads and decent coffee were lacking. Cleanliness was a bit of an issue with some of the rooms and bathrooms - spiderwebs and a moth in some of the linen provided, insufficient crockery for the number of people we had said were staying and the bbq and frypans were rusty and flaking so we couldnt really use them. Nice big lounge and dining area so overall the stay suited our purpose but the house could do with some more care

Summary: The property is absolutely gorgeous. Waking up drinking your coffee overlooking the lake with ducks and ducklings, cows, chicken and guinea foul. My kids absolutely loved walking around looking at all the animals especially the owners dog Diesel. He was super friendly. Lovely loaf of bread and donuts upon arrival too. Owners were very friendly and welcoming and also very helpful. The only downside would be the mass of midgies.

Summary: Very nicely presented in a wonderful rural setting. Next door's "farm dog" is very friendly :-) Likewise the local cows. Great for peaceful walks along the country road. Great collection of books and games but we did not have time to fully utilise. Hope to stay there again. Communication with Ellen was good and special thanks to her for the "welcome" fresh bread and jam doughnuts! Guests might like to know that only some mobile phone operators have signals out there, and the property itself does not have Internet. Makes it ideal for a "switched off" holiday :-) Beware of kangaroos at dawn and dusk as they like to cross the roads then - take plenty of care especially if you are not used to them. The house has good cooking facilities and the nearby Dardanup township has good meals at the hotel and a good bakery too. Recommended.

Summary: Clean, well appointed, quiet country home, close to Dardanup and Bunbury for supplies. A great base camp to explore the area, with plenty of room in the house. Enjoy the wildlife that abounds in the immediate vicinity.
