Bright and spacious open floor plan cabin located in the coveted Huajatolla Valley, 3300 sq ft, 3 bedroom, 3 bathroom - with views in every direction + easy access to the charming town of La Veta, Colorado and all the area has to offer! Cabin sits on 90+ acres at 7,400 ft in the beautiful Spanish Peaks area.
Sunny stucco style cabin invites you in with its floor to cathedral celling windows, spacious loft, and walk out to wrap around deck so you can take advantage of the beautiful views.
Ample kitchen with bar seating, large dining room, and a connected living room allow you to take in the views from every room. 3 bedroom, 3 bathroom home sleeps 12 comfortably with room to spare. Large main floor bathroom has soaking tub, walk in shower, and spacious vanity.
Main floor master suite is set up for maximum convenience, complete with large ensuite bathroom, 2 vanity's for getting ready, heated floor, 2 person walk in shower, TV, sitting area, and walk out to deck.
Wheelchair accessible to one bedroom and one bathroom on main level.
Great for gatherings, whether indoor or outdoors, plenty of space to enjoy the magnificent Huajatolla Valley. The home includes a wrap around deck, plenty of parking, and is situated in a peaceful, gently sloping grass setting with rock outcroppings and mountain hiking to the east, Spanish Peak and Cuchara Mountain Park views to the south, and lush valley views to the west and north.
Enjoy Colorado wildlife views in every direction and stunning sunsets across the entire valley. Only 3 miles from the town of La Veta, Colorado with art, festivals, shopping, fishing, hiking, wildlife tours, and more nearby. 14 miles to the charming mountain village of Cuchara, Colorado tucked away on the Highway of Legends where you'll find putt putt golf, horseback riding, restaurants, shopping, and more.

** No open flames outside (no fire pits, no fireworks, etc), we live in a mountain area that is susceptible to wildfire.
** Please note there is no air conditioning. Cabin cools down when windows opened for a cross breeze in morning or evening, living room has ceiling fan, all bedrooms have fans. We put a portable AC in the main level living room to help cool the main level when there are warmer temperatures.
