Positive: Room was lovely and spacious. I had the venison for dinner and it was delicious. The staff were all really friendly, but special mention to Kim on reception. When I checked in there was a large group on a golfing trip waiting to be checked in which she handled quickly and professionally despite being on her own. She later sorted an issue I had with my radiator in my room, and when I enquired about a vending machine where I could buy chocolate, she gave me a chocolate biscuit of her own. Fantastic service!

Negative: Carrying all my luggage up 2 floors.

Positive: All really top class. Breakfast was exceptional!. Room / bathroom were large and comfortable and spotlessly clean. Really enjoyed having the use of leisure facilities on site which were also top notch. Having EV chargers on hand at the hotel was also really useful.

Negative: N/A..... all was fabulous.

Positive: This is our second stay at the Crown Hotel we love the rooms always lovely an clean also staff extremely helpful the breakfast is lovely an the fitness suite is great not too busy an 2 nice little gyms as we are fitness people me an my partner, definitely be back for another stay in the future thankyou.

Negative: The evening meal wasn't what I expected for the price venison an celeriac mash 2 little sprigs of broccoli an about 15 peas just wasn't a good size portion for the price.

Positive: As ever we are always made to feel at home at this lovely hotel from the moment you step in the door-it was our anniversary and the little extra touches were lovely All staff are so friendly and helpful and a big nod to Marlon and his team as nothing is too much trouble The Walton bar looks great after its freshen up -evening meal was excellent and a lovely wine list-the whole hotel has a lovely relaxed vibe How can you fault the location!

Negative: Only a minor gripe but my breakast was a little underwhelming( never thought i would say that)-me poacehd eggs were hard boiled and a very thin hollandaise -just a minor moan

Positive: Nicely decorated and clean, friendly receptionists, the swimming pool was amazing, sauna and steam room alright. Very nice lounge areas. The restaurant food was good. Free drink per guest offered for giving up maid service for towels and bedding.

Negative: The car park was a nightmare, there is a train station next door so I would recommend coming here by train. The hot water wasn't very hot, only one key card worked. Breakfast wasn't great and the coffee machine regularly stopped working. Jacuzzi out of action which was disappointing. Noisy doors. Restaurant food was a little pricey.
