Summary: Evening meal long wait, half the food was cold when arrived. Breakfast not busy, long wait for hot food, no salt and pepper on table, no bread or bread rolls for ham, cheese, smoked salmon other than sliced bread for toast.

Summary: The corridor outside our room had a strong smell of grease, fortunately inside the room was ok. We were wakened from noise in the kitchen around 7am so really not the best room. We were a late arrival and early departure using it as a stop off so took the cheapest room available, I'be stayed here before and would recommend paying for the upgrade as the bigger rooms are much nicer. We arrived around 10pm and went for a drink in the bar, the barmaid closed up after serving us without telling us it was last orders (very early for a Friday night and with 4 separate groups of guests in the bar/lounge area). The very helpful nightshift worker did fix us another couple of drinks.

Summary: Bathroom was awful. Long dark hair in bath; grime all around the bath; mould on taps and tiles. Glass window panels had paint on them and paint splashed on floor and radiator. Bedroom window panels big streakes of paint; dirty on paintwork and an ancient dead wasp. Definitely not 4 star. Very disappointed. Positives: friendly staff and nice lounge area

Summary: Super clean room, was nicely designed & a warm welcome. Had dinner at the restaurant which unfortunately the service wasn’t great really slow & forgot one of our parties meal & drinks order (I would understand if it was super busy but it wasn’t) but they were friendly in general couldn’t fault that. The hotel was lovely giving really cosy vibes & the receptionist was lovely. Would recommend & the surrounding area is really nice for walks.

Summary: The management and staff were very caring and helpful. The chef prepared excellent soups each day! The room and dining room were acceptable, however both areas need attention to detail with regard to cleaning

Summary: We had a really nice stay. Food very good. Staff very friendly. The only thing psrking st ti.es was very busy with people parking for thr gym. My hubby has poor mobility and hotel guests using didable bays. We had to park right over the other side of the car park. Other than that a lovely stay

Summary: This was our third visit to this (very nearly perfect) hotel with just a few details that need attention: Please get some decent loo paper, the thin and mean stuff in your bathrooms is admittedly a step up from Izal, but not very nice. Please stop covering all your cooked breakfast items in black pepper - I hate it and had to scrape a lot
