Summary: We had such a great stay. The owners’ attention to detail throughout made it the perfect vacation house for all of us. Tons of dishware, towels, AC and seating made for a great stay. Very nicely decorated. Location is steps from the beach. Definitely recommend this house at Cultus.

Summary: We had a wonderful visit for a few days at Christmas time. The home is comfortable with lovely outside spaces. Very highly recommended

Summary: My husband, 3 daughters and I stayed here with my inlaws. The home was beautiful, clean and welcoming. We were quite comfortable. The only problem we had was while running the shower head in the tub to rinse my daughters hair, the water turned from extremely hot, to ice cold, and this was after I had regulated the temp. Everything else was great. For the price, I would have expected to be on or closer to the water. It was overall a nice stay. I would suggest the owner put in an A/C, as the years pass, it will only get hotter. The fans were nice, but barely helped.

Summary: The cottage is lovely, beautifully decorated; kitchen is (super) well stocked which was very important to us. The beds comfortable with good quality linens. We appreciated the games left for guests; the lovely enclosed back deck where we enjoyed our morning coffee; the deck table out front which lent itself well to crafts. The guests chairs out front were a lovely place to relax and enjoy the outdoors. We also appreciated the feeling of 'clean'. We highly recommend this lovely property.

Summary: This is a great place to stay with teenagers, as they can walk around and explore, go to the adventure park etc. We particularly enjoyed sitting around on the patio area.

Summary: Our first time in cultus so we weren’t sure what to expect. The house is well equipped and very nice. The main floor bedroom is quite small With a small double bed (bunk beds would be a better idea for this room). The house desperately needs air conditioning as it was extremely hot (especially the second floor). They have enough fans for each room however some windows didn’t have screens but the bugs weren’t actually that bad. There were a few ants that would be attracted to the countertops so some ant traps are needed (we cleaned counters but they still made their way into our cereal box & fruit) . Patio is quite comfortable and quaint. House is located in a good location- easy walking distance to restaurant (definitely recommend the restaurant! Best food we’ve had) , adventure park, water slides. It’s also 100 metres (?) to the lake & Beautiful walking path. You can swim off the dock there but it’s not a beach area. The closest beach is about 1km which had lots of docks and swimming area. It’s quite busy and rocky. Owners were quick to communicate with and house is spacious (master bedroom is quite big with nice ensuit). 2.5 baths were awesome to share for our family. Bring your own pillow as the pillows weren’t supportive. We enjoyed our time however for the price I would expect some air conditioning to make the nights comfortable. Would also be nice to have some beach chairs and toys. I believe these are new owners to the house so I’m sure they’ll adjust house amenities as needed.
