It lies approximately 10 minutes drive from the rural village of Dayboro, or 20 minutes from Samford Village and 50min from Brisbane and Brisbane Airport.
Currawong cottage is situated on the highest point of the Kobblecreek property with breathtaking elevated views of the D’Aguilar Ranges overlooking 52 acres of native bushland abundant with native birdlife, walking trails, dams, a creek and swimming hole when flowing.
There are two other cottages on the property namely Wonga and Figtree.
Fully self contained cottage with large deck, under cover parking, kitchen, a large bedroom with queen bed, cosy living area including a fire place and TV with Foxtel.
Extremely private and peaceful

Summary: Currawong Cottage is beautiful spot for a relaxing weekend. The view from the deck is amazing and the cottage had everything we needed as well as some lovely thoughtful touches from the owners. We particularly loved having Dash the kelpie there to welcome us and spend Saturday afternoon with us.

Summary: We loved the location and the peace and quiet, with only the birds and Dash the kelpie coming in to visit. The cabin was lovely, very clean, and very comfortable and Chantal answered our queries promptly. It was nice to be able to drive to the little towns that were very close and visit the markets as well. A great place to relax and wind down!

Summary: Lovely property, very private, surrounded by trees and some friendly birds who may pay you a visit on the deck. Nice guest greeter and guide - Dash the Kelpie. Overall property is prefect and has everything you need, its an easy drive into Dayboro and surrounding nature areas for walks. Note there is no internet or phone reception (at least while we were there).

Summary: We rented all 3 cottages for our daughters wedding that was held 13 mins away. It was a haven to come back to. Each cottage beautifully presented. The little personal touches appreciated. The view from Currawong exceptional.
