Welcome to Emerald Treehouse in beautiful Hendersonville, NC! We are a 2 minute drive from Point Lookout Vineyards and World's Edge Meadery, 15 minute drive to downtown Hendersonville, & 45 minute drive to Asheville.

This thoughtfully curated 2 bedroom/2 bathroom home features all the comforts of modern life with the privacy and tranquility of life in the Blue Ridge Mountains. Every detail from the ensuite bathrooms to the multiple throw blankets and smart TVs ensures your stay is perfection.
When you enter the house, you come into the main living room with lofted ceilings, the built in dinette area, and the kitchen. The first floor has the Queen bedroom and ensuite bathroom. Up the stairs is the loft living space with TV, and the King bedroom with ensuite bathroom. The main level deck provides a full twin bed porch swing, outdoor sitting, and the charcoal grill. The patio below the deck provides the hot tub and fire pit area, which can be accessed through the basement where the washer and dryer are located.

The twin bed sized porch swing where you can listen to the birds and view the mountains; the daybed sized dining bench that catches all the perfect afternoon light through large double windows at the kitchen table so you can read and relax or have a meal; the 3 comfy couches in both the living room and the loft where you can sit and enjoy the views or TV; the King bed upstairs with a work space for privacy and extra large closet to fit a porta-crib; the Queen bedroom with double closets; the easy-to-spot-everything kitchen in the open floor plan; and the hot tub and fire pit area where everyone will want to hang out at the end of the day with a glass of wine after hiking or exploring.

GPS and a car will get you anywhere you want to go unless you plan to bring your mountain bike!
Parking is easy, as the driveway can fit up to 4 vehicles comfortably.
The first half of the driveway is NOT paved, but the second half is. There is no need for 4-wheel drive, but sometimes the front of the drive gets washed out a bit, so you may need to go fast up the first part so you don't have any issues. We are on a mountain, so the driveway gets steep, but that portion is paved. We have also included lighted solar lights along the drive to help you see at night.

Summary: This was the perfect cabin for our girl's trip. It is in a great location, close to so many things to do. The cabin was super clean and decorated so tastefully. The front porch and hot tub were something we looked forward to everyday after a long day of sightseeing. We found that the cabin had everything we needed and more. I would also like to note, the owner/manager, messaged to make sure we had everything we needed and to contact her if we needed anything. After using VRBO and other renting sites, this was a first. I really appreciated that!

Summary: This was the vacation we needed and this house was perfect. We spent most of our time just watching the sunrise and looking at the beautiful view. Everything inside was perfect as we had another couple join us and we all enjoyed our stay. We will be back!

Summary: I cannot say enough about the amazing Emerald Treehouse! We almost canceled our trip because it looked like it was going to rain all week, but with the covered porch, we sat outside and relaxed even when it was raining. The covered porch is idyllic and so well designed, I could have spent weeks lounging on the porch swing! The interior of the home is designed so beautifully and with every amenity you would ever need. We truly felt at home here, we cooked, we watched movies, what an awesome home! The location is also perfectly situated for access to wineries and restaurants around Hendersonville and only 15 minutes from Chimney Rock Village and Lake Lure where we also had great wine and food. We will absolutely come back to this beautiful area.

Summary: Our 14th Anniversary getaway was nothing short of amazing! The cabin was absolutely perfect! The location was secluded yet still relatively close to everything! It was so very peaceful and exactly what we needed! We can’t wait to visit again soon!

Summary: We had such an amazing time in this property. It was even better than pictured, and it photographed very well! Gray use of space, decor and furniture was comfy, well appointed, it felt like a luxury hotel, but better designed. So absolutely fantastic I can’t say enough good things.

Summary: We stayed in the home for a full month and enjoyed every minute. From morning coffee on the deck to evenings in the hot tub. The home was clean, new and well stocked. Kelly was extremely responsive whenever we needed her. As with most homes in the mountains, internet was a bit spotty so be prepared for that. For the most part I was able to work from the cabin w/o issue, including video conferences. Proximity to the winery is a big plus. Everyone in the neighborhood (and at Point Lookout) was very friendly and welcoming. (Try the Cab. You will be happily surprised.) It's a bit off the beat and path. So if you are looking for a clean, quite, homey cabin with modern amenities and an attentive host, look no further.

Summary: We plan an annual family trip (furry family members included) and this was the perfect home for us to enjoy the beautiful fall weather and colors of the Hendersonville area. The owners have thought of every detail down to the pet bowls and lovely mums at the front door. Beds were comfy and cozy and we slept well! Thanks to our hosts for a lovely getaway.
