Negative: There was a couple dirty dishes in the cupboard. Also microwave had not been cleaned. A little pricey for that old of a motel.

Positive: Location was excellent for us and was quite sufficient for our needs, and the people we interacted with were very helpful in dealing with a complex situation..
Negative: It was very difficult making the reservation. After 4 attempts, each time the reservation was "completed" I received about 8-10 emails inside of 2 minutes telling me that the reservation was completed, that it was not completed due to insufficient payment, that the credit card was rejected, that the financial institute could not be accessed, that the reservation would be cancelled within 24 hours. that the reservation had been cancelled, that the check-in time was not acceptable and that additional important information would be sent approximately 24 hours prior to check-in. In no case was the reservation actually completed, Since one suggestion was to contact the bank to confirm payment for the reservation, I did take this step. Personal at the bank were very helpful, but it took over an hour of phone calls to finally secure the reservation. No additional information email or text was received and upon trying to check-in, we were unable to since we lacked the entry code. Again, after a significant amount of effort we were able to get in touch with local personnel who managed to secure the entry code allowing us to access the cabin. The additional information, including the entry code, was not emailed until the morning that we were to CHECK OUT. In summary, it appears that there may have been a glitch in the automated email response, I got the impression that all possible responses were being sent at once, besides the one containing essential check in information not being sent on time. Also trying to contact personnel to deal with the situation was difficult, primarily since the nature of thr problem was not addressed in the phone-trees. However, as mentioned, once contacted everybody was very understanding and helpful.
