Dawsons Landing is a charming two bedroom, one bathroom home. Located in a wonderful neighborhood, just 2 miles north of the Brookings Center and Harris Beach State Park. This comfortable two bedroom, is a great place to call home while enjoying the Brookings Coast & Redwoods! Ample parking for fishing boats, trailers or RV's.
Spacious yard, fully fenced with additional dog ammenities, such as an outside dog kennel helps make this a comfortable place to bring your 4 legged friend(s) for the adventure. Outside games & BBQing available for guest use.
An open layout and spacious living area make for an easy relaxing spot in the house to gather together. Enjoy the large, mounted flat screen TV with basic cable connection and DVD player access for guest use; along with wifi. A smaller, open & well-stocked kitchen with all the cooking utensils you should need. Two dining areas; a 4 seated breakfast table and a larger dining table- seats 6.
Two nicely furnished bedrooms and one well stocked full bathroom.
The primary bedroom is on the left; sleeps 2 in a queen. Warm oak bed frame, headboard & light color paint helps capture the beautiful natural lighting. This room has a dresser, smaller closet for guests to store clothing, small mounted flat-screen TV with cable access and floored with standard curtains.
Second bedroom is located on the right, closest to the bathroom. This room sleeps two in a queen. Also floored and nicely furnished with a dresser and small closet. This room does not have a TV.
Additional Sleeping; There is a self-inflating air mattress, full size.
Bathroom Layout & Description: There is only one bathroom in this home. It is a standard bathroom with wood-style flooring and tiled walls. Shower-tub combination with glass doors and an additional curtain to pull for more privacy.
The yard of this home is what draws you in! Large grassy-yard to enjoy outside games, BBQ, or fetch with your furry friend! Two small raised garden beds in the back when in season, produce a few berries and veggies. Two patio seating areas; one located in the backyard has a cement slab with chair seating for 4. The front of the home has an additional deck platform with a picnic table for seating.

Summary: This property was super well maintained and perfect for my dog! The house was comfortable and provided all of the needed amenities. Will definitely book again when visiting the coast.

Summary: The house is centered in a huge fully fenced yard that is ideal if you are travelling with dogs. Even if not, it's a lovely, open yard with plenty of patio space to enjoy. There is short walk to a private portion of Harris beach that connects to the much larger public beach. It has a dramatic sea cove feel to it. Wonderful neighborhood with some awesome views. The house itself is a fun hangout and has everything you need for a short stay.

Summary: Property and garden were just as pictured. We had a very relaxing time, I am a gardener so I appreciated the garden. Our dog loved running after her new ball in the spacious outdoor area. My husband had just had surgery and I had a bad hip, we called the property management and they were very nice and sent someone to take trash down to curb as it was full when we arrived. We would definitely book again. My only suggestion would be is to paint a yellow stripe on garage step up I tripped and fell against the wall going into garage when loading out car. Other than that we had an enjoyable time, friendly neighbors nice neighborhood.Thanks!

Summary: We've stayed at this house for several years and it is hands down our favorite. The house is always very clean and better stocked in kitchen and everywhere than any other house we have rented. Huge completely fenced yard is perfect for our big dog who loved being able to run around. We are always scrupulous cleaning up after our dog and it is a shame others don't always do the same. We picked up 2 piles that were old and not ours. This is a great house and you owe it to management to clean up after your dog! There is tastefully decorated with a lot of interesting art work that is not cutsey but fun and neat to watch changes. Icemaker now is a big plus. We were able to log in to our own Prime Video account and watch our own shows with the smart tv. Thanks for that. Lots of hookups for all your electronic equipment is appreciated as well. Thank you for a wonerful stay as always in this lovely house in a quiet neighborhood and well taken care of.

Summary: We have stayed at Dawson's Landing three times. Due to the secure fence surrounding the property, it is a great place for a dog. Also, the back patio is very comfortable for hanging out, and the yard is lovely, with many flowering plants. The kitchen is very well stocked. No complaints.

Summary: We love this little house. There is a large fenced yard for our dog and kids to play in. The garage has all kinds of games, ping pong, darts, etc. A short drive to town and nearby beach access. We walked to the beach every day!

Summary: Very dog friendly, big and secure yard. Fairly quick walk to Harris beach steep on the way down, even steeper walking back up. Be prepared to get your heart-rate up. All in All a worthwhile location for our adventures.
