Enjoy the mountain air, and weather. Maximum 4 people, no children under 5 (except 'babes in arms'. This is NOT a 'party house'. Two night minimum stay except for Thanks Giving, Christmas, and 4th of July. These Holidays require a three night minimum stay.

Summary: The Cottage is a great mountain getaway for us & our pups. We look forward to getting out of the city for a mountain refresh & the cottage does just that. Great location, neighborhood & Gail is a great host. Our second time here & we’ll be back again!

Summary: Cozy little cottage was perfect for a quick getaway for our family of four plus our pup. Close enough to Arrowhead yet far enough away to be out of the hustle and bustle there. Fenced yard, plenty of kitchen items and other amenities. Cute antique touches. Small space, but quaint. Walk to breakfast in town (Cedar Glen Inn). Owner very communicative and easy to work with.

Summary: The host was incredibly welcoming and the cabin was perfect. The kitchen was fully stocked with cooking equipment. The yard was great for our dog to explore. Would stay again!

Summary: We found this gem last minute in looking for properties that accept dogs. We were pleasantly surprised at the cleanliness and comfort of this cottage. The bedrooms are upstairs, and the bathroom is downstairs, which is a little challenging if you have to go to the bathroom in the middle of the night, but we made it work. The cottage was supplied with all the cooking utensils and other comforts of home. We enjoyed our 2-night getaway and would definitely consider renting this place again. Our host, Gail, was very communicative, helpful and answered all of my questions. Overall, we had a wonderful stay!

Summary: We visited The Cottage in late March, just as a storm was brewing. We found it spotless and totally cozy for two and our dog. I also appreciated the subtle “cowboy” touches and updated furnishings. Downstairs is all living area and the only bathroom. Both bedrooms are up a somewhat narrow staircase. The kitchen has just about every utensil one could need, including knives that cut food! It’s well stocked with coffee pods, tea, and other condiments, and everything works great. We grilled one night, and BBQ made cleanup easy. There’s also stacked laundry and soap, and in the pantry are dog toys, bowls, games, lanterns, some skis, and I don’t know what else! Both bedrooms are upstairs. The main bedroom is really cozy, and bed is very comfy. There’s a great big ceiling fan that I’m sure comes in handy in summer. I loved racks are there to stow our luggage. There’s plentiful drawer space. The second bedroom is full of jungle/travel themed decor that would be great fun for kids. Our dog was particularly fond of the bed leopard! A favorite spot was the sunny side patio and yard during the day, and we really enjoyed the fireplace in the evening. The neighborhood is very nice for walks- each house is cuter than the next. The only thing that could use improvement might be an additional lamp for nighttime reading. Gail was great! She was able to share traffic updates on road construction, recommended dinner spots, and even went to the trouble of leaving a celebratory bottle of bubbly for us. All my questions were promptly and thoroughly answered. To sum up, we’re already planning a trip up before summer gets too busy. Rent it!
