Cute and cozy two bedroom, one bath in a rural residential area of McFarland near an inlet that connects to the Yahara River and Lake Kegonsa (house is not directly on lake or river). Situated next to a charming campground & marina in nature. Walkable fishing areas. Lake Kegonsa State Park Trail is nearby for walking or snowshoeing. Just a 15 minute drive to Madison! NO PARTIES. You will be asked to leave if there is any party activity seen. Dog must be approved prior.
Quaint cottage with two bedrooms, about 800 sq. ft. Main bedroom has a queen bed and a Roku TV (no cable). Small bedroom has two twin beds. Living room has a Roku TV (no cable), as well. The home does not have central air, it has one window AC unit and ceiling fans. A dog is NOT allowed without approval. Smoking is NOT allowed. Only two vehicles are allowed to park in designated spots.
Guests have access to entire house. Guests may fish off a section of piers that are walking distance from home. Do not walk on or fish off piers past where the RV trailers begin. Do not walk on campground or campsites as it is private property and I do not own it. The owners will ask you to leave if you are on their property. Ice fishing is not allowed on the inlet. Guests are not allowed to walk on piers in winter months. Guests are not allowed to walk on ice. Please do not throw rocks on ice or water as it may cause damage to boats and props.
Additional guests that are not on the reservation are not allowed on the property. Visitors are not allowed on the property.
Only one dog allowed. A dog is NOT allowed without approval prior to booking. If you are interested in bringing your dog please let us know so we can discuss compatibility and options. Only a housebroken dog is allowed (sorry if your dog requires puppy pads or equivalent they are not allowed). Our insurance policy requires us to prohibit the following breeds: Akita, American Staffordshire Terrier (pitbull), Chow, Presa Canario, Rottweiler, Sharpei, Wolf Hybrid Mix, or mixed primarily with a listed breed). Dog must be less than 50lbs. A dog that barks excessively is not allowed as there are others on the property. Dog must be on a leash while on the property at all times. Dog waste must be picked up immediately and thrown away in dumpster. Dog is not allowed on any furniture (bed, sofa, etc.) We ask that you keep your dog crated if leaving them unattended while you're away.

Boats and boat trailers are not allowed. We do not have a launch for kayaks, canoes, etc. There is a state of the art kayak launch just around the corner at Fish Camp County Park! Please let us know if you're planning on bringing any water equipment.
This house is very strict on loud parties. Quiet hours are from 10pm-8am. Other people live on the property and there are neighbors so please keep voices low and music at a respectful volume.
All forms of smoking are not tolerated. Fireworks not allowed.
All types of trailers are not allowed on the property.
Do not hang anything on windows or walls. This includes decorations, wall hangings, etc.
Do not hang, stand, or climb on the railing outside in front of the house.
You do not have access to enter or exit through back door. There is storage in the back for the property.
Do not leave grill or fire table unattended. Please put cover back on grill and fire table when not using. We happily offer the grill and fire table for your enjoyment at no extra charge. Please note, if more than 50% of the propane tanks are used during your stay, a $35 refill fee will be applied to each tank. Thank you for your understanding!
Copy of government issued ID for each guest may be required to book. Must be at least 25 years old to book.

Summary: We enjoyed the cottage a lot! The host was fantastic! The only thing that bothered us a bit was all the air conditioners and dehumidifier. The place smelled a bit musty.

Summary: Needed a place to stay for a quick weekend trip to attend our god daughters University of Madison's graduation. Jordyn was quick to communicate and so sweet to have handwritten notes welcoming us. There were snacks that were an ultimate hit with my son and the all sorts of coffee at the ready that thrilled my husband and I. Place was clean, stocked with extra towels and blankets, pillows. Though not needed, appreciated for the option. Accessible to the highway, the drive into downtown was easy! Recommend as 5 stars!

Summary: This property is in a suburb of Madison on a lake only about 15 from UWM campus. It is an easy commute and was nice to have a place to come to and relax after our very busy days of checking out Madison and campus. Jordyn is an excellent host who communicates very well and is very hospitable! The home was clean and so welcoming!!! We had a lovely stay! Thank you! If you don't want to stay in a hotel I would definitely recommend!

Summary: We loved our brief stay at Jordyn’s cozy home. It had everything that we expected and a bit more. It was the perfect space for our family of 4. Jordyn’s commitment to communication prior to and during our stay was very helpful and appreciated. I would recommend this home and look forward to considering it again if we come back to this area.

Summary: We were in the area for Ironman Wisconsin. Jordyn’s place was perfect for the four of us. It was 20 minutes from the race transition area. It was nice and quiet and all the people we met there were super friendly. Jordyn went above and beyond our whole stay. Her place was clean, comfortable and just what we were looking for. There was a full fridge with a freezer, stove, oven, microwave, coffee maker, and toaster. There were board games for rainy days. The beds were comfortable with lots of pillows. We had a lovely note and basket waiting for us when we arrived. The patio in front of the cottage was a great place to sit out and read or use the fire table. I would highly recommend a stay here.

Summary: This stay was wonderful. We came for the Crossfit Games and it was perfect. A little further out if Maddison than we would've liked, but the price was great and we knew the distance before we booked. No issues calling Ubers out there which was great. House was clean and cool (was worried about that because it was so hot and humid) but we had no issues with that. Jordyn was lovely. Would totally stay again!

Summary: Overall we enjoyed our stay. The owner was very responsive to questions and let us check in early. Other than it rained for 24 hours the second day we were there (owner can't control that) our only disappointment was not being able to watch the Packer opening game day there. The place has Roku and a couple other TV subscriptions but no local stations so we had to go elsewhere to watch the game.
