Summary: I booked this place as a home base for chasing the eclipse back in April. As far as "small" places go, I loved this one. A nice open layout makes it easy for you to unpack and maneuver around. I was traveling between St. Louis and Carbondale during my stay and I liked the small, quaint area the home is located. It's about a 45 minute drive from St. Louis and the drive back to the home at night was very peaceful on the country roads. It had everything I needed for my trip and I wish I could have spent some more time there. The owner was very communicative and had detailed plans on how to operate the heat and such throughout the house.

Summary: We stayed while visiting family at Scott AFB. Comfortable studio with enough space for our teenagers to spread out too. Any needs/concerns we had were promptly and thoroughly addressed by Christa.

Summary: Overall quite comfortable. Plumbing and design a little unusual, but the place is clean and quiet and well located. If you are ok with washing your dishes, I am suggesting you consider it. Good value for the money, and the owners are prompt in their communications and responsive.

Summary: Great communication with host!!! They let us know a day ahead that the pipes were frozen and offered to refund us our money. Then they worked hard to thaw them. Everytime I contacted her there was a quick response!!! Only negative is I didn't realize how small it was. I thought it was one bedroom with a pullout bed in the living room. Also only had 3 towels so I had to wash them during our stay. But.. everything else was great.

Summary: This place is great for people visiting the state and need a place to come home to and chill and relax in comfort. Very simplistic and cozy place to hang out with family or friends. I used this place to live in while starting a new job, it worked out perfectly!
