Positive: This is such a quirky property with a working soviet hand cranked gramophone and old documents from the USSR. Definitely a great place property to experience for anyone who is into history. Also the owner kept us well supplied with free wine and chacha.

Positive: Absolutely loved everything about Dabakhnebi. Fantastic location! Dabakhnebi is in the heart of the city, close to all the major attractions. It made exploring the city so convenient. Free private parking is provided on site.The house has the perfect blend of historic charm and modern facilities. The rooms are clean and very comfortable, with elegant decor. Zaza is attentive and helpful host who is always there for every need of yours. He welcomed us with homemade wine and Chacha. We felt right at home. The house was perfect for our 6 year old daughter. We would definitely recommend this property to anyone visiting Telavi.

Positive: I really enjoyed the house! We stayed for just one night, but it felt like a full vacation. The house is wonderful—everything was perfect. I’d like to thank the person who prepared the house for short-term rentals and designed the interior. You can really feel the care and attention to detail for the guests. It’s a rare find in Georgia—a house that is truly suitable for short-term stays and relaxing holidays. A special thanks for the vintage bedding! You don’t see that kind of quality anymore. Sleeping on such clean and high-quality linen was a real pleasure. Huge thanks! We had an amazing time!

Negative: The house has excellent warm radiators, but all the heat escapes through the beautiful old wooden windows. When we visited, it was windy, and the windows caused the house to lose warmth, making it a bit chilly. It might be worth sealing the windows for the winter. Also, the fireplace could use a windproof damper for the colder seasons, as it also draws out the heat. These are minor details, though.

Positive: Excellent location, lovely homely apartment, clean and comfy. Fast responses and very helpful to my troublesome queries (where to find a driver at the last min, where is the clinic). It is run by a very kind family - The grandparents and grandkids who showed us around; we even got to try grandma’s cake and grandpa’s homemade wines. A very delightful and comforting stay, huge thumbs up from me!

Positive: The property was exactly as advertised. Old cosy Georgian house. They had air con and great WiFi. The people renting it were lovely and left local wine and chaha to try. The area is very peaceful.

Negative: The location pin is not correct at all. Better to type in Dabakhnebi to google. We spent much time trying to get to the house because we had no WiFi…it is a bit far from town…
