Positive: A very nice B&B — perfect if you arrive in San José in the afternoon and plan to head to La Fortuna early the next day. The staff is exceptionally friendly and helpful. Delicious gallo pinto for breakfast
Negative: If you do not rent a car, look elsewhere. We did not have a problem

Positive: It was located in what seemed to be a good suburban area of Alajuela, on the edge of the city, 20 min. from the airport They provided an airport shuttle for $12 at 6am. The hosts were very friendly. We did not get to try the breakfast, unfortunately, but the breakfast area looked very nice.

Positive: This is a perfect spot for a quick trip to the airport or a short stay. The hosts are lovely and very accommodating.The rooms are well kept, fresh and very clean. The beds were comfortable and we had a great night's sleep. It's like a little oasis in the city. It felt like we were in the country but we were just a 15 min drive from the airport. This is the best place we have stayed around the airport by far!
Summary: Da Bene is a cute spot! Excellent value for the money and lovely hosts.

Positive: Family guest house is in very nice location, with a huge garden, where we had breakfast. Perfect place to spend a night before or after flight from/to SJO. Owner is friendly and helpful lady, gave us recommendations for nice restaurant in the town. Beds were comfortable, rooms was clean, breakfast simple, but tasty. Recommend to stay here if you are in the area.

Positive: We landed in SJO late and wanted a place close to airport. We were able to arrange pick up for small price from our hostess Adriana. She found us immediately! In the morning Blanquita and Adriana serve us a delicious typical CR breakfast. Later they assisted in getting tickets to Poas volcano and Adiana drove us and waited while we hiked and took pics. She later drove us to downtown market for lunch and shopping.
Negative: We enjoyed everything about the property and facilities.
